About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). A Senior Product Designer at HappyCo is an integral part of a successful, high performing product team. You’ll operate as the “Chief Creative Officer” in your team, and play a crucial role in helping bridge what product managers want to build and what engineers actually build, bringing your ideas to the table and discovering the right solutions together in collaboration. Sitting in the shoes of both external and internal customers, you’ll create shared product experiences that are leveraged across product teams to multiply the impact of their product line.

What we think you should have to be successful:
5+ years of product design experience with high proficiency in product discovery techniques and approaches

Competency conducting research and usability testing, and setting outcome-based goals
Experience designing for multiple levels of audiences and user archetypes within an enterprise or B2B context

You will work closely with our design team, creative directors, and marketing experts to generate illustration concepts for print and digital, and you’ll be responsible for bringing those concepts to a high level of polish that elevates our brand.
Responsibilities:
Use digital illustration tools such as bitmap and vector graphics applications
Work with fellow digital team members and stakeholders to discuss and create designs and workflows
Prepare rough drafts according to illustration/design requirements
Discuss client needs and identifying an audience for illustrative work
Stay up to date with new design techniques and software
What we’re looking for:

A Portfolio of work showcasing creativity and accessible storytelling made for global markets.
Experience thinking “out of the box” when infusing charm into EDU content
Experience building design systems or user experiences while adhering to overall brand standards.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software.
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload, able to balance multiple projects at once and meet critical project deadlines.

We are seeking a full-time employee who can help us research, collect and analyze new datasets via hand collection, scraping, or other methods.
The ideal candidate can analyze and make recommendations or draw conclusions from those datasets. It is a benefit to have existing expertise on U.S. insurance products, but this position does not require it.
Once hired, you will be required to learn and understand products in order to collect appropriate data.
Data collection may be both quantitative (for example, insurance quotes) or qualitative (for example, coverages and benefits offered by insurance companies).
The interview process will consist of one video interview and a small skills assessment assignment.

Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts
