Keep reading...\n\nPlease note: This is a remote position based on the East Coast of the U.S. We can only hire U.S. citizens for this position due to Federal Government contract requirements. \n\nHereโs what you'll do\n\n\n* Develop the scope and rules of engagement of penetration tests, and direct researchers to effective testing\n\n* Use your consultative communication skills to gather requirements, understand customer needs, and influence internal/external stakeholders\n\n* Partner with internal teams to determine, develop, and analyze the clientโs assets, such as:\n\n\n* Their digital attack surface and value at risk\n\n* Their existing vulnerability programs, tools, and methods\n\n* Their security program, including requirements and goals\n\n\n\n\n\n* Work independently and provide technical product expertise to build the appropriate solution for the clientโs needs\n\n* Provide technical SME expertise to internal stakeholders and the client on their strategic goals and testing requirements\n\n* Proactively review assessment health to provide technical findings, vulnerability details, and insights to improve overall test quality/outcomes and mitigate risk \n\n* Assist customers in managing and optimizing their long-term pentesting programs, ensuring continuous security improvement and adaptability\n\n* Collaborate with the account and CSM teams to address any areas of concern or opportunities to expand to retain and grow client accounts\n\n* Collect and act on feedback from clients to continuously improve engagement and service offering \n\n* Responsibility for any technical escalations that may arise during the engagement\n\n\n\n\nHereโs what youโll need\n\n\n* At least 5-7 years of technical account management, technical project management, and/or customer success experience in the Cyber Security Industry or Technology Industry\n\n* Experience with vulnerability discovery management, risk management frameworks and associated business workflows, and remediation\n\n* Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Basic SQL) and developing scripted solutions to problems\n\n* A knack for explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience\n\n* Relevant industry certifications in cybersecurity and/or security management such as, Security+, CISSP, CISA\n\n* Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects\n\n* Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value\n\n* Proactive and solution-oriented approach to addressing client challenges\n\n* Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions\n\n* Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\n* Candidates must be US citizens\n\n\n\n\nReady to join us?\n\nSynack is committed to embracing diversity.
