Check out our website and docs for more details.\n\n\nAbout the Role\n\n\nWe are looking for a Finance Operations Associate well versed in crypto and digital assets to be an integral part of our Operations team, reporting directly to our Head of Operations. This person will manage Sei’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations and accounting standards while analyzing financial data. The goal is to provide stakeholders with timely and reliable financial information for educated decision-making. The team’s commitment to financial stewardship contributes to the company's long-term stability and success.\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n* Manage finance operations, including cash management, bank reconciliations, AP, AR, reimbursements, vendor payment processing, and invoicing activities.\n* Develop, implement, and refine accounting policies and procedures to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, guiding the company’s financial strategy and building robust financial processes. This includes: GL management, ensuring accurate and timely records of all financial transactions; Monthly closing, including bank/crypto wallet/credit card account reconciliations and analysis.\n* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit processes, internal controls, and legal requirements.\n* Providing support to and manage timely and effective audits.\n* Supporting the establishment of internal controls, procedures and processes.\n* Oversee and review the work of external consultants.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.\n* 2+ years of experience in crypto, fintech, or start-up environments.\n* 2+ years of management consulting, investment banking, or business operations preferred.\n* In-depth understanding and relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including strong grasp of trends, themes, tokenomics, etc.\n* Strong organizational and project management skills.\n* Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting.\n* Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.\n* Underdog mentality to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes.\n* Ready to adapt to a fast-paced continuous learning environment.\n* Willingness to take on additional responsibility when needed.\n\n\n#LI-CG1\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
