\nThe AUV Data & Infrastructure Engineer performs two critical functions for the Maritime Division. Firstly, they will become a subject matter expert in the data and telemetry that Anduril platforms collect in service of their missions, and be able to effectively process, manage, analyze and disseminate that data, as well as develop high quality data products and advice for our customers. Secondly, the AUV Data & Infrastructure Engineer will work to continuously improve the way that we collect, manage, analyze, and disseminate AUV data at an infrastructure level, and drive tighter integration between platforms and mission systems across Andurilโs operating system, Lattice, and family of autonomous systems.\n\nThe AUV Data & Infrastructure Engineer will work with partners across Maritime Division as well as Andurilโs Software Platform and Business Operations departments. They must be able to operate independently, think critically about short term mission data needs and long term infrastructure investments, and drive data and infrastructure projects forward across organizational boundaries.\n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\n\n* Develop and implement a maritime data collection, management, and infrastructure roadmap in service of the Maritime Divisionโs internal needs as well as customersโ mission sets, in both the defense and commercial markets\n\n* Generate workflows, processes, and formats for deliverable datasets, to satisfy contractual and commercial agreements on deliver of vehicle and system data\n\n* Create high-impact data products, leveraging AUV data, that:\n\n\n\n* drive customer decisions and answer mission needs,\n\n* support the understanding and continuous improvement of our fleet performance, spanning vehicle platforms, payloads, vehicle and mission software, and software delivery and deployment infrastructure\n\n* help to metricize and assess overall lifecycle metrics such as uptime, reliability, maintenance intervals, etc.\n\n\n\n* Invest in tooling to enable high-value data review and post mission analysis for deployed systems, with a focus on reducing the turnaround time for data analysis and mission assessments\n\n* Support the generation of key data representations as inputs to demo reports, in partnership with Field Test Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Program Management\n\n* Identify opportunities to exploit existing datasets collected by our products to enable future technologies and/or advance the performance of the products in the field\n\n* Conduct user experience sessions to collect feedback on our data processing tools, identify areas for opportunity, and constantly improve the post mission analysis (PMA) tooling offered with our products\n\n\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n* 3+ years of industry experience in development of data pipelines, warehousing, and/or data-science exposure\n\n* Experience with development and data management using C++, Python, or comparable\n\n* Proficiency in Matlab and ability to manipulate large datasets\n\n* Demonstrated experience delivering consistent geospatial and/or remote sensing data products\n\n* Experience operating and analyzing data from robotics systems in real-world environments\n\n* Must be eligible to attain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance\n\n\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n* Ability to attack complex problems, break them down into tangible actions, and execute against plans in a high-autonomy environment\n\n* Hands-on experience working with maritime domain remotely sensed data as part of an enterprise level project, including proficiency with geospatial software platforms, such as Esri ArcGIS and QGIS\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
