They draw on their expertise in areas such as agile project management practices, agile coaching at the organizational and team levels, project status and progress reporting, risk/issue management, stakeholder management, continual improvement, and contract administration in order to deliver the highest levels of client service and work.\n\nIn this role, you'll work with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Servicesโ Administration for Children and Families (ACF) to enhance the grant recipient experience through service design. You'll be part of a team that shapes impactful solutions to improve how grant recipients access support, helping them deliver critical services to communities more efficiently and effectively. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that maximize the impact of government funding and improve the well-being of children, youth, families, and communities across the nation.\nWhat youโll do\n\n\n* Translate the clientโs objectives and constraints into an engagement approach thatโll deliver a unique experience and impactful results in the shortest amount of time possible\n\n* Assemble a multi-disciplinary team of experts from a variety of sources, including Skylight and other subcontractors, to deliver the engagement\n\n* Manage multiple projects aimed at delivering transformation or a specific product using the appropriate methodologies (e.g., Scrum or kanban)\n\n* Set up the team for successful delivery by removing obstacles, coaching them on how to become more collaborative and self-organizing, and enabling the work they do rather than impose how itโs done\n\n* Conduct retrospectives with both the client and Skylight team to learn what is and isnโt working well, and formulate and implement improvement actions\n\n* Provide management- and team-level visibility into the status and health of the engagement\n\n\n\nWhat we're looking for\nMinimum qualifications\n\n\n* Past experience managing large teams across multiple product portfolios or product lines\n\n* Understand how to apply agile principles to project and program management\n\n* Ability to understand client needs and build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with them\n\n* Ability to grow Skylightโs business through business development activities\n\n* Can cultivate team health, including establishing psychologically safe environments\n\n* Can ensure that each project is staffed with the appropriate level and types of personnel\n\n* Can ensure that teams are compliant with their contractโs terms and conditions\n\n* Ability to work successfully within a professional services environment (e.g., can communicate effectively with clients)\n\n* Passionate about creating better public outcomes through great government services\n\n* A mindset and work approach that aligns with our core values\n\n* Ability to travel for work from time to time\n\n\n\nNice-to-have qualifications\n\n\n* Prior experience with grant programs for government or nonprofit organizations, particularly those related to health and human services\n\n* Familiarity with federal grant regulations and the ability to navigate grant lifecycle processes from application through reporting\n\n* A background in using data analytics to track the effectiveness and impact of grants, ensuring alignment with public service goals\n\n* Prior experience working in the civic tech space\n\n* Experience working in a remote-team environment\n\n\n\n\nDonโt meet 100% of the criteria but think you can do the job?
