\nThe Role: \n\n\nSnapLogic is looking for a meticulous, self-driven, and detail oriented Paralegal/Legal Operations Specialist to join our Legal team. This role will report to the Head of Legal.  The successful candidate will be an individual contributor with experience with Ironclad.\n\n\nThis role is for candidates located in the Central or Western US timezones and will have some expectation to work in our San Mateo, CA HQ. \n\n\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n* Support a collaborative legal team in the drafting and basic review and updates of various contracts and documents\n* Initial review/negotiation of NDAs and vendor contracts, for final approval by counsel\n* Coordinate all aspects of the contract review cycle from initiation, approvals, signature process, distribution and archiving\n* Create, maintain and update contract management processes, including build, revise, and maintain Ironclad workflows as requested. Advise on best practices.\n* Manage and lead special projects\n* Identify gaps in existing processes and build scalable solutions to support a fast-growing business. However, you are encouraged to come more frequently when your schedule permits. \n\n\n\nWhat You Will Do: \n* Proactive Customer PO Management: \n* New SaaS Customers: Where Purchase Order numbers are required, coordinate with customers during their onboarding phase to ensure Purchase orders are obtained and passed on to Varicent’s billing team before invoices are generated and sent out.  \n* Existing SaaS Customers: Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to proactively reach out to customers 60 days before their next billing date to ensure that the customer information and purchase orders in Salesforce and NetSuite are complete and accurate prior to the billing date to avoid delays in billing and collections. \n* Professional Services business: Work with Varicent’s Professional Services operations team and project directors to ensure purchase orders are made available before invoicing. \n* New Customer - Finance Onboarding:  \n* Obtain a clear understanding of customer’s billing policies and procedures, as well as gain access to the necessary tools used by customers to manage their accounts.  \n* Design a standard Customer Onboarding Checklist to be used to gather all information needed to be able to accurately bill customers and ensure the information is accurately reflected in Salesforce and NetSuite \n* Send the Customer Onboarding Checklist to the appropriate customer contact, through close collaboration with Regional Sales Managers.  \n* Collaborate with Customers to ensure Varicent is appropriately set up in their database as a Vendor. \n* Maintain a list of customers that require Tax Residency Certificates for billing purposes and proactively request such information 30-60 days prior to invoices being generated. \n* Effectively communicate all customer billing requirements to the Finance Team to avoid delays in sending invoices.  \n* Manage Accounts Receivables and Collections for Varicent’s EMEA portfolio: \n* Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to perform AR collection activities.  \n* Perform cash application and credit notes activities daily.  \n\n\n\nWhat You Will Bring: \n* Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or related fields \n* 3-5 years of overall experience in the order to cash cycle which includes billing, collections, cash applications and customer administration.  \n* Experience using ERP software and intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel \n* Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive results. \n* Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills \n* Collaborative: Must have the confidence and willingness to work up and down the organization. \n* Proactive: Anticipate issues in processes before they become problems \n* Exceptional problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.  \n* Customer-Centric: Dedication to ensuring positive customer experience. \n* Must be resourceful, self-motivated have a proven track record of taking on end to end ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced and high-growth business environment. \n* Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Deal Hub preferred \n\n\n\n\n\nVaricent is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. About The Opportunity


The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Provide Implementation Services to customers:


  • Support the project team in the validation of customer's business requirements and mapping to Ceridian functionality
  • Design and document innovative solutions to solve customers’ business needs
  • Guide the configuration of the Ceridian application to meet customer’s business requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) on strategic implementations
  • Lead internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables


Contribute to Internal Implementation Initiatives:

Overview


Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship –Africa Region


The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship – Africa Region is a collaboration between Certara, Pharmacometrics Africa, CP+ Associates, together with several pharma industry and academic partners, to provide an intensive fellowship program for talented and motivated doctoral level scientists from Africa.


The program has 2 components:


  • Virtual Program – A 3-month virtual program (Q1 2023) that will provide fellows with exposure to leading edge pharmacometric model based analysis. The time commitment will be significant (e.g. a minimum of 20 hours per week over the duration of the Virtual Program.
  • Immersion Program – Upon completion of the Virtual Program, fellows will have the option to extend the program for another 3 months to an project-based program led by Certara and partners from pharma and academia. The program is designed to foster professional development through immersive training on all competencies required for regulatory quality pharmacometrics analyses and reports. Guided by industry mentors, the fellows will receive class-room training, are assigned individual jointly-agreed upon, precompetitive projects and participate in a leadership development program designed to enhance their decision-making and communication skills.


The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship – Africa Region aims to build scientific and leadership capability in Africa by enhancing the skills of local scientists and by facilitating knowledge transfer to their wider scientific communities. The relationships forged between the hosts of this program and the fellows' home institutions will further the endeavour to create next-generation medicines to ease suffering and improve quality of life for patient populations around the world. Successful participants in this program will be considered as candidates to join the consulting team for Certara located on-site in Africa.

  • For the participants who are selected into the Immersion Program the program sponsors will provide :
    • Travel, accommodation & visas: (1) round-trip economy class airfare, (2) student-style accommodation for the duration of the on-site program, and (3) support for educational visa applications.
    • Stipend and health insurance: health insurance and a monthly stipend to cover incidentals and basic living expenses.
  • Timelines & Location: The 3-month Virtual Program is planned to start in mid-January 2023. The start of the 3-month Immersion Program is planned for 2Q2023.

CP+ Associates was established in 2017 as a social venture that develops scientific capability in low and middle income countries (LMIC), focussing on healthcare via drug discovery, development science and clinical trials.

Qualifications


Eligibility to this program is based on the following criteria:


  • You have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical or biological sciences, applied mathematics or statistics)
  • You have recently completed your PhD or equivalent studies (i.e. early to mid-career)
  • You should already have done at least 1 clinical pharmacology or pharmacometrics data analysis project using descriptive or a model-based methods
  • You have evidence of completing relevant courses on model-based analysis methods e.g. Pharmacometrics Africa courses or equivalent
  • You are a proficient English speaker and based in an African country
  • You have demonstrated strong team player skills
