However, we always give each client a website that is created especially for them and is optimized to convert as many visitors to leads or sales as their budget allows. So we'll add in mini-out of the box animations or graphic designs to business's websites as they allow, like this website: https://lakeside.vet/\n\nWhat Jonroc Brings to the Table\n\nWe bring our brand and reputation to the table with a strong drive for both company and employee growth. We also use GreenSock and on many projects.\n\n* Be a product-oriented Web Developer creating and experimenting with new ideas that will engage and excite our customers\n\n* Adeptly develop HTML5 for SEO\n\n* CSS3 Pro (Flex, Grid, Bootstrap PRO)\n\n* Mobile Responsive from Scratch and/or Bootstrap PRO\n\n* Expert of responsive design techniques and principles\n\n* Passion for all things JavaScript, UI, and Front-End\n\n* Code quality is exceptional, semantically correct, and easily scalable.\n\n* Is experienced with cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility issues.\n\n* Familiarity with UX/UI design best practices\n\n* Experience with source control solutions (BitBucket/Git)\n\n* Has the technical depth to write and understand code specifications.\n\n* Has the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision.\n\n* Is able to proactively communicate and collaborate with customers, business analysts, and technical team members (both hired and contracted) to identify and resolve issues.\n\n* Candidate must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment as well as independently.\n\n* Strong customer focus and obsession with quality\n\n* Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs\n\n* In Leadership – Do what’s right, even if it’s tough\n\n* In Collaboration – Leverage our collective genius, be a team\n\n* In Transparency – Be real\n\n* In Accountability – Recognize that if it is to be, it’s up to me\n\n* In Passion – Show commitment in heart and mind\n\n* In Advocacy – Earn trust and business\n\n* In Quality – Ensure what we do, we do well\n\n* Familiarity with Adobe graphic editing tools, such as Photoshop and Illustrator\n\n* We track time spent on project tasks down to the minute and roll up all task time to the overall project (ya this kind of sucks but it’s the best way to ensure budgets are met and projects are moving at a steady pace)\n\n\n\n\nSound like you? \nSummary\n\nOutreach, Inc has a mission to equip the Church to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over our 20 year history, we’ve equipped tens of thousands of churches to reach millions of people. Large and small organizations alike have partnered with us to change the world for the Church. But as the medium for reaching people changes, and the world becomes more digital, we need more people with technical skills and experience to join us in our mission.\n\nBecoming a member of the Outreach software development team means that you’ll help shape the future of how we equip the Church. We’re a small team of software developers and designers, responsible for a wide variety of applications and services. Every day we’re presented with new ideas and new opportunities which our team approaches using an agile mindset. So if you’re a senior full stack web developer that can help us grow our team and appreciates working on a wide range of projects, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nWhat we expect\n\nAs a senior full stack web developer, you’ve got at least 5 years of experience working on the web. Specifically, we’re looking for candidates that:\n\n\n* Have a solid understanding of how the web works, and are familiar with every layer of the web, from networking, to application, to database\n\n* Keep up to date, and love playing with the latest technologies and frameworks\n\n* Understand and have practiced data modeling, from concept to implementation\n\n* Have mastered object-oriented programming and can apply it to how they design data structures and systems\n\n* Have employed modern design and architecture patterns, like dependency injection, pub/sub, MVC, and microservices\n\n* Are not tied to any particular framework or system (though they might have preferences) and are always on the lookout for new ways of doing things\n\n\n\n\n As this is a senior position, we’re also expecting candidates that:\n\n\n* Have experience mentoring more junior developers\n\n* Consider themselves to be great communicators, to both developers and stakeholders\n\n* Have a proven track record of success working in an agile environment\n\n\n\n\nHow we build software\n\nOur product design and software development processes are grounded in Agile principles and informed by LEAN Startup and SCRUM methodologies:\n\n\n* We put our customers at the center of every decision - life is way too short to build something nobody wants\n\n* We design and build to learn, then we build to scale - experimentation and learning are central to our approach\n\n* We measure our results and test our assumptions - data informs our decision making, not the loudest person in the room\n\n* We're constantly learning and growing as individuals and as a team - a growth mindset and strong drive for continuous improvement is a must\n\n\n\n\nOur tech stack and tooling is pretty awesome, but we’re always looking for ways to improve:\n\n\n* We use SQL Server as our data store, accessed through Entity Framework.\n\n* On the back end, we’re using .NET Core.\n\n* On the front end, we’re using React.js.\n\n\n\n\nWe've been leveraging virtualized environments since the early 2000's, but in 2017 we'll be moving to the cloud by:\n\n\n* Embracing DevOps as a discipline\n\n* Defining our infrastructure as code\n\n* Migrating from monoliths to microservices\n\n* Running our apps in containers\n\n* Automating our entire process\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo Apply\n\nIn addition to your resume, please submit a cover letter explaining why you are interested in the company, the position, and software development in general. In your cover letter, tell us which you use - tabs or spaces - and tell us why you are right. Most importantly, include an online portfolio (e.g. GitHub) that shows some of the projects that you’ve worked on. Without a portfolio, your application may not be considered. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
