We are expanding our team to take on this challenge!\n\n\nAbout The Role\n\n\nRocket Lawyer is seeking a software engineering intern who wants to experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a talented agile team. You will be able to participate and deliver stories in an agile team, with the guidance of a team of experienced developers, testers, product, and design. \n\n\nWe value a fun, collaborative, team-oriented work environment, where we celebrate our accomplishments. \n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Participate in backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning.\n* Pick up stories and bugs to work on each sprint. \n* Collaborate with other team members to ensure understanding and alignment.\n* Write tests to ensure your solutions meet the acceptance criteria.\n* Send pull requests for review and incorporate feedback.\n* Keep ticket status updated in JIRA and provide updates in daily standups.\n* Participate in sprint demos and sprint retrospective meetings.\n\n\n\nRequirements/ Preferred Skills\n* Available to work 30 hours per week\n* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field graduation date between January to July 2025 at the time of application\n* Fluent professional English verbal and written communication \n* Knowledge of JavaScript technologies, such as Angular, React, and Typescript\n* Knowledge of HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS\n* Knowledge of Agile methodologies\n* Knowledge of JIRA and Github or similar frameworks is a plus\n* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments\n* Strong work ethic and attention to detail\n* Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills\n* Initiative and willingness to learn\n\n\n\nBenefits\n* Remote work\n* Life Insurance\n* Meal/ Food voucher\n* Birthday day off\n\n\n\n\nR$2.500 - R$2.500 a month\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
