**Main duties/Responsibilities**\n\n* Develop web applications (both back and front end) as per the required specs\n* Fix bugs and refactor existing codebase\n* Maintain and improve existing products \n* Ensure adherence design and architecture patterns and principles\n* Security threat modelling\n* Code Reviews (including security code review)\n* Mentor Junior and Mid Level Developers \n* Provide management with qualitative and quantitative guidance (trade offs of approaches, insight into downstream effects of decisions along with estimates for budgeting and planning)\n* Write automated tests to help team improve quality of codebase\n* Document existing and future systems\n* Provide support and input into tech stack evolution including but not limited to technology selection, architectural design and roadmap prioritisation.\n* Other relevant tasks as directed\n\n**Skills & Experience**\n\n* At least 6 year of working experience in a software development field with the last role(s) preferrably being a team lead role \n* Java, Java 8, J2EE, JavaScript, JUnit Testing, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, JSON, XML\n* Knowledgeable in Container Technologies (e.g. Docker, LXC or Kubernetes )\n* Deep understanding of Application Design Principle and Best Practices such as OOP, TDD, SOLID Design Principle, MVC, Reactive Manifesto, etc.\n* Experience in using AWS services such as AWS EC2, etc.\n* Knowledge in different environments such as Linux, etc.\n* Understanding of database transactions and programming techniques to handle concurrency \n* Experience with multiple RDBMS databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle\n* Experience with multiple NoSQL Databases such as DynamoDB, Mongo, Redis \n* Experience in different application servers like JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Glassfish, etc. which includes deployment, configuration, and administration.\n* Strong practical Unix or Linux systems administration skills\n* Strong application software development for Linux and Windows operating system\n* SQL\n* HTML\n* CSS\n* Pub/Sub \n* Caching strategies\n* High Availability\n* Git\n* CICD\n* OWASP Top 10\n* Security Threat Modelling\n* Application Performance Optimisation (e.g. JVM Tuning, \n* SCRUM/Agile development\n* Monolith & Microservice Architectures \n* Rest API Design\n* Security threat modelling\n* Good presentation and communication skills \n\nPlease mention the word **SUFFICED** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMjQ=).
