As the number of clients raises rapidly, we need to respond to advanced issues and requests that we receive from our users in order for Autify to grow into a more competitive product.\n\n| About This Role\n\nJob Purpose\nOne UI/UX designer is currently responsible for designing both "Autify for Web" and "Autify for Mobile". We are hiring additional staff to assign design tasks for each product and build a better design process.\n\nProduct design at Autify\nAs of April 2022, the Product team consists of three Product Managers and one UI/UX Designer. The CEO also serves as the Head of products. We identify issues from user feedback and requests we receive from departments that interact with clients often, such as CS and Sales. We then explore the context and causes of those issues, formulate hypotheses on how we can solve them from a technical and UI design standpoint, and apply those ideas to the UI. We then validate whether our theory was correct based on the feedback and data we receive on released products and make further improvements. We're looking for someone who can do all three. But if we had to pick only two, it would be UX and UI.\n\nAs a contracting Senior Product Designer, you'll work with our design, product, and engineering gurus on exciting new and established websites, plus responsive web/mobile apps. You won't be on your own. You'll have input from our resident illustrator/engineer Joey, our Head of Product Ian, the multiple clever Product Managers across the company, and our existing design team. We all want beautifully designed products and we know that takes collaboration and process.\n\nA key part of this role is getting familiar with our customers. You'll be talking to them constantly and using their feedback to guide your decisions. When we know what to build, you'll design UIs for our apps and websites.\n\nThis is a critical role, and we're looking for someone with a rare combination of skills. As such, we expect to pay a premium for you.\n\nThings you'll do a lot\n• Talk to users. You'll show them early mocks of things we're working on and iterate based on their feedback.
