This work will have a direct impact on hospital pharmacies, by providing actionable insights that reduce drug spend, increase medication safety and compliance, and maximize staff productivity. Customers rave at the savings CostCheck brings and your work will bring the satisfaction of tangibly saving hospitals millions of dollars!\n\n\n\nAbout the role:\n* Work with QA and the UX team to build a best-in-class, well-tested user experience\n* Periodically engage with customers to hear new feature requests and contribute to solving problems\n* Collaborate with team members to design and build high-scale fault-tolerant systems to support the product\n* Be a key team member in our agile, two-week sprint process managed by JIRA\n* Participate in code reviews\n* Mentor junior developers\n* An opportunity to solve problems of scale, performance, and user experience\n* Trust in your sense of ownership\n* Dedicated budget for training and career development\n* The opportunity to redefine what's possible in health care software\n\n\n\nAbout You:\n* Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer\n* Love of solving problems and building things\n* Extensive knowledge in Java, Spring, and SQL\n* Strong understanding of relational databases and related topics (data modeling, diagnosing slow queries, etc.)\n* Extensive experience working with APIs and knowledge of HTTP and REST principles\n* Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, etc.)\n* Display empathy with your coworkers and our customers\n* Exemplify our core values (Get Stuff Done, Join Forces, Honor the Customer, Redefine Possible, and Have Fun)\n* Sense of ownership in your work\n* Exceptional attention to detail\n* Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities \n* Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments\n* You have a willingness to learn, teach and step outside of your comfort zone.\n* Ability to present results, in written and verbal mediums, to both non-technical and technical audiences\n\n\n\n\n$140,000 - $160,000 a yearThe standard base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 when annualized. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards.
