This person will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of Trial Library’s suite of solutions to accelerate clinical trial recruitment. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies across our technology stack, including AI-powered services, clinical trial search, and user-facing applications. This position is critical to maintaining the highest quality standards as we work towards our company mission.\n\n\n\n\n* Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and integration tests to ensure comprehensive testing coverage across our technology stack\n* Develop and implement QA processes and best practices to improve overall product quality\n* Maintain thorough documentation of testing procedures and results\n* Maintain automated testing frameworks for backend services (Python), and frontend applications (Typescript)\n* Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) testing pipelines\n* Conduct API, performance, and security testing to ensure system reliability and data integrity\n* Collaborate with product and engineering to understand requirements and QA features to make sure they meet quality standards before release\n* Perform thorough regression testing to prevent new code changes from affecting existing functionality\n* Identify, document, and track bugs in our issue tracking system (Jira)\n* Work with healthcare and clinical trial datasets, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA)\n\n\n\n\n* Bachelor's degree or similar in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field\n* 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in both manual and automated testing\n* Proficiency in both Python and Typescript\n* Experience with test automation frameworks for Python (e.g., Pytest) and TypeScript (e.g., Jest, Cypress)\n* Experience with API testing tools and performance testing methodologies\n* Familiarity with relational database systems (e.g., Postgres)\n* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket)\n* Experience testing AI/ML models and systems is a significant plus\n* Experience with healthcare tech or clinical trials is a significant plus\n* Respect for compliance and privacy requirements in healthcare (e.g. HIPAA)\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Core Values\n\n\n1. How you will help\nYou will be embedded in a development scrum team to design, document and implement effective test strategies for new and existing features. You will own our testing environment and be the gateway to successful production deployments. You will be expected to work across roles at HealthVerity to ensure quality goals are met. Additional tasks will include reviewing requirements and code, automated testing, test planning and reporting.\n\nWhat you will do\n• Write and carry out end to end automated testing, including functional, performance, regression, and stress testing\n• Refine testing and quality processes, methodologies and performance measurements\n• Confirm and document defects and communicate KPIs with our Product and Development teams\n• Manage and maintain testing environments and build processes, in concert with the System Operations team\n• Create test strategy and implementation plans for development, while ensuring best practices across SDLC\n\nAbout you\n• A curious self-starter with a positive attitude that enjoys working in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment\n• Data-focused, testing and measuring as much as you can\n• Able to take broad feature requirements and turn them into actionable, valuable test plans\n• Organized, with the ability to multitask by using impeccable time management skills\n• Meticulous with attention to detail but are able to see the big picture and focus on high level goals\n\nDesired skills and experience\n• 2+ years of experience writing automated test cases\n• Familiarity with cross browser testing frameworks like Selenium\n• Experience with rapid software and exploratory testing\n• Bonus: Experience with Python or JavaScript\n• Bonus: Knowledge of continuous integration frameworks, such as Jenkins\n\nAbout HealthVerity\nPharmaceutical manufacturers, payers and government organizations have partnered with HealthVerity to solve some of their most complicated use cases through transformative technologies and real-world data infrastructure.
