Avoid introducing an OWASP vulnerability. Know how APIs are secured, sessions are handled, and data is validated properly.\n\n* Work in an agile development model and participate or even lead sprint planning activities to break down epics, estimate accurately and consistently.\n\n* Look for and surface dependencies that can create technical challenges, bottlenecks or otherwise inhibit deliveries.\n\n* Build reliable observability; monitor and log alerts to ensure the team is aware of, and can respond to, quality issues or outages.\n\n* Help other teammates resolve complex problems or think through design/architecture challenges. Be available and responsive.\n\n* Foster an excellent engineering culture based in trust, accountability, character, and honesty.\n\n* Seek feedback and deliver constructive criticism (e.g., code reviews) in a tactful and empathetic manner; build others up and mentor without ego.\n\n* Be proactive in moving to new cards/stories and contributing to the team’s forward momentum.\n\n* Participate and hold code reviews to ensure high quality deliveries.\n\n\n\n\nYour qualifications:\n\n\n* Possess a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience. Emphasis in engineering, data science, computer science or information systems is preferred.\n\n* Have a minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with SaaS applications.\n\n* Proficiency with Node.js and Angular a must.\n\n* Experience with C#, Go, Terraform, Typescript a plus.\n\n* Knowledge of Git source control, versioning/branching, rebasing, etc.\n\n* Proficient in AWS systems (Lambda, ECS, Security Groups, CloudWatch, Ops tools, etc.)\n\n* Experience with Agile SCRUM model.\n\n* Knowledge of code coverage and unit testing frameworks.\n\n* Familiar with ticket tracking (e.g., JIRA/Pivotal).\n\n* Knowledge of best practices for microservice architecture and communication methodologies.\n\n* Comfortable with RESTful APIs, secure sessions, identity and access management providers (OAuth, SAML, etc.).\n\n* Proficient with database queries, SQL, optimization and tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)\n\n* Knowledge of caching systems (Redis, Memcache, Elasticache).\n\n* Familiar with queueing systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, ActiveMQ, etc.).\n\n\n\n\nCompensation: \n\n\n\n* Competitive salary based on experience\n\n* Range $100,000 - $135,000/year\n\n\n\n\nBenefits:\n\n\n* Flexible time off and paid holidays\n\n* Medical, dental, and vision\n\n* Group term life, short-term disability, and long-term disability\n\n* Voluntary life, critical illness, and accident coverage\n\n* 401(k) program with pre-tax and post-tax options + employer match\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Engineer, Developer, Digital Nomad, Git, Angular, Senior and SaaS jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $120,000/year\n
