Muzooka offers flexible work schedules, competitive salaries, options pool and the opportunity to work on a product that will change the state of the music industry.\n\nJob Description:\n\nIn this role you will lead our backend development and build Muzooka's API to drive the success of our web and mobile applications. You will also get to contribute on the front-end using cutting edge tools. You'll work closely with our front-end development team to ensure we are building a maintainable code base and minimizing technical debt. Our designer and product manager will coordinate with you on a daily basis to plan features for the API. You'll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and play a key role in product development.\n\nSkills Needed:\n\n\n* Foundation in Javascript\n\n* Familiarity with AWS deployment\n\n* Proficient with mySQL\n\n* Experience with Node.js\n\n* Experience with a JS framework like React or Ember\n\n* Experience with Git workflow\n\n* General understanding of front-end development \n\n\n\n\nWhat else we are looking for:\n\n\n* You're a good programmer and have a drive to create clean, reliable and maintainable software\n\n* You know what a good API looks like\n\n* You're a strong communicator; explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you\n\n* You can pivot directions quickly when needed\n\n* You have a desire to iterate constantly\n\n* You have a passion for constant learning\n\n* You're hands on and like to be involved in all areas of a company\n\n* You have a positive attitude and are always willing to lend a hand\n\n* You love working in a fast-paced, start-up environment\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
