Using your skills as a full-stack web developer, you will be responsible for for coming up with imaginative solutions to technical problems and delivering a top notch user-experience to our customers. \nWe're currently looking for a developer to join the Postmark team. Postmark is a SaaS app that makes it easy for other web apps and businesses to send and receive transactional emails. We have an API that customers use to send and receive email using REST calls. Postmark also supports traditional email sending through SMTP.\n\nAbout building Postmark\n\nPostmark's REST API is written in .NET MVC (C#). The web frontend is written in Ruby on Rails. In order to keep things running smoothly, we also maintain a herd of windows services. We use RabbitMQ, MySQL, and ElasticSearch for persistence.\n\nAs a developer on the team, you'll definitely need to have experience with the .Net platform using C#. But, if you have interest in Ruby on Rails, there's an opportunity to grow those skills, too. Everyone on the team interacts heavily with RabbitMQ, MySQL and Elasticsearch, so experience with document databases, RDBMSes, and durable queues will be extremely valuable.\n\nThe REST API for our product is the primary “UI” for most of our customers. Therefore, experience designing APIs that are easy for customers to consume from any programming language is a must.\n\nPostmark incorporates a lot of techniques to ensure great deliverability for our customers. We follow standards like DKIM, SPF, and DMARC, and we know how to tune MTAs to ensure email gets to recipients as fast as possible.
