Seed Oil Scout is seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack software engineer to join our innovative team. This role is perfect for a new graduate or senior in college looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, AI-driven startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What Youโll Do
Reporting to our Founder, youโll be responsible for the following:
Full stack mobile development:
Develop and maintain high-quality Flutter code for our iOS and Android applications serving 200K MAU
Design and test UI experiments to boost customer happiness and revenue
Integrate with Firebase, Algolia, and AI based services
Backend Development & Integration:
Work on API integrations with Node.js to power features such as payments (Stripe), user analytics (Amplitude), and subscription management (RevenueCat).
Analytics & Performance:
Collaborate with the product and data teams to ensure effective implementation of analytics platforms.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
KEY COMPETENCIES
What You Need
5+ years of experience in Flutter or iOS app development.
Strong experience with Node.js, API integrations, and server-side development.
Familiarity with data analytics platforms like Amplitude, RevenueCat, or similar.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of SaaS platforms like Stripe and subscription management tools.
Natural and deep understanding of US popular culture across the decades and today, as incredible marketing is at the core of SOS.
Solid understanding of SQL and data management practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership in delivering great user experiences.

We're looking for
Someone with broad full-stack engineering abilities
Excellent technical understanding of software engineering and data security principles
Comfortable with architecting web applications - or ready to grow into thisย
Technology agnostic and adept with Node.js, plus familiarity with a modern JS framework (we're currently using Angular) and/or TypeScript
Optionally, a good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
Skilled in API developmentย
Appreciation for documentation, quality and best practice
Experience with Git/GitHub, and running CI/CD pipelines
Good technical familiarity with AWS Cloud services

Memex is a personal & collaborative reader to collect, annotate and discuss websites, PDFs and Youtube videos. By yourself or with your team and community. We're in Beta and you can download it here: memex.garden. This is made for DAOs, commercial and academic research teams, reading clubs and students with the need to collaboratively read and talk about web content, papers, Youtube videos and (soon) images.
Weโre funded with support from Protocol Labs as well as leading people at Protocol Labs, Anaconda, Ceramic & RMRK.
Next, you'll be working on the collaborative curation and annotation workflows and on the sync between Discord and Memex Spaces to automatically extract links and conversations from there.
Youโll be the 3rd person joining our 2-person engineering team and will mainly work on the feature development. Upcoming are improvements to the collaboration experience, image support and the Discord sync.
While we use React, Typescript, Firebase and React Native, weโre not looking for a checklist of technologies. Weโre looking for people who can demonstrate experience and deep knowledge about programming and the surrounding skills to ship projects. (Weโre not open to junior positions at this moment.)
