This role is for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions and being exposed to new challenges and technologies while making an impact. This role is available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec.\n\nWhat your team does: \n\nYou will be working on our Accounting business, which is the next frontier for Clio. It's a key area of investment for the company and a cornerstone of our future growth. As the successful candidate, we will rely on your tried, tested and well-honed skills, combined with your experience building accounting products, to shape the trajectory of this new market offering. The business will look to you to articulate where the market is going, how we should stay ahead of that from a product perspective and to collaborate cross functionally and work with engineering and design teams to execute against the vision that you've set.\n\nA day in the life might look like:\n\n\nWork with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customers;\n\nWork in an agile environment with our team of full stack developers across a variety of projects.\n\nLearning new things, and challenging yourself and honing your craft as a Rails expert\n\nParticipating in diverse projects and collaborating with multiple engineering teams across three countries; \n\nReview and provide feedback on code, both from within your own team or across all of Clio. \n\nCollaborate with teams across Clio to diagnose, understand, and solve problems, and to build solutions that may span many areas.\n\nTeach and learn from those around you - providing constructive feedback to those around you, and taking on feedback to help grow.\n\n\n\n\nWhat you may have:\n\n\nExperience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale with Ruby on Rails;\n\nThe ability to gain fluency in new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customers;\n\nDemonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products;\n\nA diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems;\n\nA portfolio of past projects (including notable successes and lessons learned); and\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build high-trust relationships with fellow Clions and customers. \n\n\n\n\nOur Team\n\nOur team shows up as their authentic selves, and are united by our mission.
