\nA little bit about us:\n\n\nWe are Belvo, a financial API platform for Latam that enables any company or developer to access and interpret their end-users' financial information. We are turning the rich and diverse Latam financial ecosystem into a set of developer-friendly tools and APIs.\n\nWe’re a highly-technical, passionate and driven team. We have offices in Barcelona, Mexico City and São Paulo and the majority of the tech team works remotely.\n\nWe are tackling a very challenging problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. We strive to go beyond the limits of what is possible today and to do so in an elegant and developer-first way.\n\nYou can read more about us and why we’re doing what we’re doing here and here.\n\n\nAbout the team:\n\n\n* We work in cross-functional, autonomous teams. We follow continuous delivery best practices executed on top of a modern technology stack. \n\n* Our products are built for developers, by developers. Technological excellence is at the heart of what we do.\n\n* We are pragmatic and customer focused. We strive to find the right set of trade-offs in order to validate our hypothesis as early as possible, iterating on our products based on customer feedback. \n\n* We communicate transparently. We do weekly all hands where we get together to discuss company performance and goals.\n\n* We are a flexible international team focused on creating cool stuff. Some of us prefer to work together in one of our offices and others prefer remote. For us there's no difference as long as you have an excellent internet connection and are able to overlap with the team between 3pm and 6pm, CEST timezone. \n\n* Also we are backed by some of the leading investors in Silicon Valley and Latin America, including Founders Fund, Kaszek Ventures and YCombinator\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour challenge:\nThe experience team is building applications and services that expose end-users' financial information through a set of public-facing, easy to use APIs. In addition to that, we take care of the Developer Experience through documentation, SDKs, examples and other developer-facing tools.\n\n\n* Lead the architecture, design and implementation of Backend services and APIs powering Belvo FinTech infrastructure.\n\n* Coordinate technical execution with other team members. Envision solutions collaboratively and coordinate their execution as a team, addressing technical and coordination issues.\n\n* Mentor other engineers and be a force multiplier.\n\n* Build excellent documentation, SDKs, client libraries. Continuously improve the “developer experience” of Belvo’s platform\n\n* Be customer-focused, think as a user of our APIs. Proactively tackle potential improvements and customer pain points.\n\n* Carefully manage API retro compatibility, document API changes and implement deprecation plans\n\n* Implement automated quality assurance and monitoring modules \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can be part of the gang if:\n\n\n* 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, of which 2+ as a tech lead\n\n* Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs\n\n* Strong professional experience with Python and Django.\n\n* Willingness to solve challenging problems\n \n\n\n\n\nAmazing if:\n\n\n* Fintech and SaaS past experience\n\n* Relevant programming knowledge in other languages such as Javascript, Java, PHP, Ruby or Go.\n\n* Experience building large-scale platforms with global reach.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur tech stack:\n\n\n* We’re building our platform using modern technologies, putting the focus on reliability and long-term maintainability\n\n* We primarily use Python on the backend. We use battle-tested technologies such as Django, and we are heavy users of Python’s asyncio for some parts of our stack\n\n* We use Javascript, Vue.js and Sass on the frontend. We are developing and leveraging our own design system and component library\n\n* We run our infrastructure on top of Amazon Web Services, leveraging managed services. We tend to favor the use of managed services wherever possible, in order to focus on our business problems\n\n* We observe and monitor our services using Datadog\n\n* We follow Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best practices\n\n\n\n\n\nOur perks:\n\n\n 1.8km from the beach\n Stock options (we are all owners and this is very important to us)\n Flexible working hours\n Remote friendly\n Pet friendly\n Meals, transport, and kindergarten via flexible compensation scheme\n Paid time off on your birthday\n Fresh fruit every week, all-you-can-drink tea and coffee\n Friday happy hours after our weekly team meetings\n Training Budget\n Team building events\n Bank holidays swap inside the same month\n Fitness/ wellness stipends\n Yearly offsite \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Executive, Tech Lead, Amazon, Python, Ruby, API, SaaS and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $120,000/year\n

**About Us**\n\nNannyML is an early stage venture funded start-up. At NannyML we build enterprise software for supervising and correcting ML systems in production. That includes detecting data and concept drift, estimating performance loss and suggesting corrective actions as well as a dashboard that presents all these insights for business and technical users. Our goal is to ensure that ML systems keep adding value and that insights that can be extracted from ML systems are clearly communicated to business stakeholders. We want to make ML in production effortless to interact with and extract value from.\n\n\n\n**About the Role**\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build a great product. You will be working closely with the founding team. Our expertise is in leveraging business information, exploiting data and prototyping data solutions. Your expertise comes in to complement the team: you will be responsible for product development from the software and data engineering side: from designing engineering processes, brainstorming with the founders, through prototyping and first implementation to architectural choices and frameworks. You will have the ownership and the decision making power to shape everything that lies between product and research. As we grow NannyML we expect you to grow with us. We envision your path may grow your position into VP of engineering or similar.\n\nWe are an early stage startup, and so you will wear many hats and be expected to do what's needed for the company to succeed, including working on things that you don't know anything about and at weird times from time to time โ€” we all are. You will have the opportunity to get meaningfully involved in the areas of product, engineering, hiring and people management among others.\n\nWe value freedom with responsibility, transparency and a growth mindset. We believe in generating our own luck by trying out new stuff, always asking, constantly learning, reading and meeting new people with different world-views. We value trying new things, and appreciate that from time to time things may break in the process. Working at NannyML you will have full autonomy to make impactful decisions and prioritise and organise your work the way you see fit.\n\n**Please do not apply for this role if you are not physically located in Europe, Africa or the Middle East (UTC-2 to UTC+3) or you are not fully willing to relocate immediately. This is a fully remote position, however we will be working with you very closely, so significant work hours overlap is necessary. You also need to be able to fly to Belgium or Portugal as needed.**\n\nExperience with early stage product is absolutely necessary. If you don't have such experience please do not apply. Please bear in mind that this is not a web development position, while web development might be a small part of what you do, it is not going to be your main focus.\n\n**Responsibilities**\n\n* Integrate and productionize Data Drift detection and prediction algorithms\n* Develop and deliver CI/CD, version control and testing frameworks\n* Brainstorm new features and shape the product road map together with the founding team and clients\n* Architect, design, and hands-on build the software\n* Produce clean, well-documented and efficient code\n* Handle automation, infrastructure and orchestration\n* Help with implementing NannyML at clients and with clients on-boarding\n\n**Requirements**\n\n**Basic**\n\n* You significantly contributed to building an early stage product\n* You have experience working with data (such as ML systems, big data or building data heavy products like BI tools)\n* Great communication skills in English - both oral and written\n* You are extremely proactive, independent and comfortable with proposing new ideas โ€” and holding your ground when you believe you are right.\n* Strong experience with Python in back-end development, infrastructure or data engineering\n* 5+ years working as a Software Engineer or in a similar role\n* You live in or are willing and able to relocate to EU time zones\n\n**Bonus points**\n\n* You were the first engineer or the lead engineer in a venture funded startup\n* Experience with data engineering tools and containerization\n* Experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks\n* Experience building enterprise grade software\n* Significant experience with on-premise deployment and integration with enterprise IT systems.\n* Basic familiarity with Machine Learning\n* Masters degree in a STEM related field\n\n**Benefits**\n\n* Fully Remote Working Environment\n* 23+ Days of Planned Leave Annually\n* Paid sick leave and private healthcare plan\n* We support paid parental leave\n* Home office, work and well-being allowances (for yoga, gym etc.) and other nice benefits\n* Stock option plan\n* Salary: 54,000 - 66,000 EUR/year\n \n\nPlease mention the words **ZOO SPATIAL MOTOR** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMTguMTg5LjE5NS4xNDI=).
