You are awesome at working independently and self-sufficient, you are great at researching using Google and AI tools extensively to find the infos you need & to learn.
You could, in theory, build functional websites from scratch without relying on AI or programming tools.
You can write code from scratch using your brain, without AI, and just by using a text editor (if need be).
Coding means actually writing manual code for you, not copy'ing & paste'ing code snippets that you found on the web. To you, coding also doesn't mean dragging objects from A to B in some visual "programming" tool.
In other words, you're a real programmer!
Your skills:
Perfect English & typing proficiency. No typos, no grammar mistakes.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has at least 6 years experience in backend web development, with at least two of those years working for a startup. You’ll ultimately own several software components, and you’ll participate in product planning and testing.
Tech Stack: Our platform uses the PHP framework Laravel and the Javascript framework Vue tied together with the InertiaJS library for a SPA-like experience without the maintenance overhead. Our platform is backed by a MySQL database and relies on the N8N workflow engine and the RPA framework via Robocorp for out-of-band tasks. All of our servers are hosted on AWS, and our code is hosted on GitHub. Although we're currently a small team, we use modern methodologies, local environments coordinated by Docker, code reviews, continuous integration, etc. for software development.

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to add to the document creation team!\n\n\nFormstack is a 12-year-old company with its roots in Indianapolis. Our customers span 110 different countries, and our employees live and work across the U.S. and the globe. We are seeking people who demonstrate an ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.\n\n\nWho You Are:\n\n\nWe're looking for someone to take ownership of the technical side of things in a small development team, making architectural decisions and implementing code following industry best practices. Some experience with web application provisioning will be a plus, although it's not required.\n\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\n\n\n* Maintain and evolve the application that gathers and processes user data, producing documents in various formats and delivering them to 3rd party systems.\n\n* You'll spend your day designing and implementing new features working closely with a product manager and designers team.\n\n* Create scalable code that's easy to understand, test it and release it into production.\n\n* Work in a Scrum environment, delivering increments of functionality and constantly iterating over them.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n\n\n\n* Proven experience working on web applications with PHP and at least one modern PHP Framework (Laravel, Symfony, Zend, CakePHP, YII)\n\n* Knowledge of MySQL, including query analysis and optimisation\n\n* JavaScript\n\n* CSS\n\n* Git Version Control\n\n* Unit and integration testing experience\n\n* Ability to design and implement scalable web application\n\n* Ability to work remote and with remote team members\n\n* Excellent oral and written English communication skills\n\n* The ability to work independently but also work well within a team environment\n\n* The Ability to travel (<10%) for team meetups, conferences, etc\n\n\n\n\n\nBonus Points\n\n\n\n* Experience integrating with 3rd party web applications (through REST or other well-recognized standards)\n\n* Experience using queueing systems for processing background jobs on a scale\n\n* Experience with PHP codebase responsible for generating various document formats (PDF, Word, CSV)\n\n* Experience in managing PHP web application provisioning in production workloads\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat Formstack Offers:\n\n\n\n* 100% covered Medical Insurance, as well as company-paid Dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance Benefits for full-time employees.\n\n* Unlimited PTO for all employees\n\n* 401k with matching company contribution for full-time employees\n\n* The most up-to-date technology, including company-issued Macs, the latest software and other tools needed to excel at your job\n\n* Company-paid conferences and extended learning\n\n* Yearly company gatherings\n\n\n\n\n\nWant to learn more about who we are and what we value?
