The Director of Curriculum is a strategic and hands-on leader who is primarily accountable for the results of a high-functioning instructional team. The Director will work with groups across App Academy to ensure the highest-quality and delivery of content to our growing student body. Labster Product teams are approximately 30+ team members - software engineers, 3D and 2D artists, SQAs, product owners and simulation directors located all around the world, between Copenhagen and Bali. As a software engineer at Labster you will join one of our cross-functional, distributed and truly international teams (we are now more than 18+ nationalities) to work on building VR simulations, simulation editing tools, advanced learning analytics dashboards or implementing micro-service architecture etc. We govern ourselves by using a flat-hierarchy system called Holacracy that focuses on roles, collaboration and distributed leadership. \nTHE OPPORTUNITY\n\nANet works alongside leadership teams in schools and systems to deliver equitable instruction, and the VP, Product is responsible for designing and executing on a product technology strategy that best supports our instructional products. Our suite of products and services include school and system coaching, professional learning and standards-based assessments and resources. ANet has several platforms that enable equitable instruction which the VP will support including:\n\n MyANet is a teacher- and leader-facing web application that provides interim assessment data reports, standards-based resources, and a portal to support online test administration. \n\n Our Assessment Delivery System enables students to take online assessments and quizzes. \n\n Our Quiz Tool is built to enable teachers to create short-cycle assessments. \n\n Internal applications include an Assessment Development Tool used by our internal content team and a Roster Tool used by our Operations team to support assessment administration and data reporting. \n\n We also leverage Tableau and a data warehouse to support additional reporting products.\n\n\nThe VP will oversee the creation and execution of a long-term product technology roadmap, manage research into new technology-enabled product offerings, recommend technology strategy that maximizes resources and impact and meets the needs of partners, and lead relationships with technology building block vendors.
