As a critical member of our B2B sales team, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, acting as a vital Glean ambassador. \n\nYou'll leverage your positive attitude, communication skills, and deep understanding of customer needs to identify leads, establish conversations, qualify and nurture them, ultimately helping solve problems and accelerate our growth.\n\n \nMeet the team: \n\nThe Glean Sales team is made up of two areas that work seamlessly together: Our Account Executive Team consisting of one Account Executive and two Senior Account Executives. And our Sales Development Representative team, led by our SDR Team Lead (Scott) and supported by our two Sales Development Representatives (Elliott & Jordan). Together, our team focuses on North American Higher Educational sales, led by our Sales Manager (Issy).\n\n \n\nWhat youโ€™ll be doing: \n\n\n* Prospecting: You'll be finding high-quality leads, utilising various techniques like cold calling, email outreach, and social selling to connect with our ideal customers.\n\n* Qualification: You'll understand potential customers' needs and challenges, ensuring Glean would be a good support for their students. This involves conducting discovery calls, asking questions that align with the MEDDPICC sales method, and gathering information on market trends and news. \n\n* Relationship Building: You'll build rapport with disability services professionals, becoming a trusted advisor and generating excitement about Glean.\n\n* Pipeline: You'll progress qualified leads through the sales funnel, scheduling demos with Account Executives and ensuring a smooth handoff.\n\n* Data: You'll leverage data and analytics to track your progress, measure success, and continually refine your approach.\n\n* Collaboration: Throughout this process, you'll collaborate closely with the Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives, and the Demand Marketing team. The Coalition is coordinating the implementation of the Roadmap by working with policymakers, the building industry,  and consumers to dispatch zero-emission lifestyle solutions โ€” eliminating the need for fossil fuels and helping the state to slash climate pollution. \n\nMoving Californiaโ€™s homes and buildings off of fossil fuels will improve public health, cut climate pollution, deliver cleaner air, alleviate rising housing prices and monthly energy bills, all while creating a tremendous export opportunity for the state. To get there, we are activating strong leadership from communities, manufacturing and government, in California and beyond.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY \n\nAs the California Regulatory and Policy Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Coalition's strategic plan for California. Your primary responsibilities include serving as a legal, regulatory, and policy resource for BDC campaigns, fostering regulatory education and communication with regulators, and ensuring seamless integration of campaigns with broader BDC priorities. You will actively engage in building relationships with diverse stakeholders, advocating for legal and regulatory solutions, and contributing to the advancement of the building electrification movement in California.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nCalifornia Regulatory Leadership, Strategy Development & Implementation\n\n\n* Participate actively in the development of the Coalitionโ€™s overarching strategic plan for California, serve as a legal, regulatory, and policy resource for BDCs campaigns, and ensure campaigns are coordinated and fully embedded into other BDC priorities.\n\n* Work with the California BDC team to provide regulatory education and communication with regulators including developing strong relationships, identifying opportunities and priorities, and working in coordination with the broader coalition to move the BDCโ€™s legal and regulatory agenda forward.\n\n* Convene and facilitate meetings and working groups with NGOs, equity groups, financing experts, affordable housing advocates, ratepayer and consumer groups, manufacturers, business organizations and associations, outside counsel, and others regularly to develop relationships and strengthen networks in order to address barriers to building decarbonization within relevant state regulatory agencies and administrative dockets.\n\n* Identify and implement legal and regulatory solutions that lift up the most vulnerable communities while simultaneously lifting up market leaders and aiming to create high-road jobs.\n\n* Track key regulatory proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Energy Commission, summarize key documents, prepare comments and testimony when appropriate, and support BDC partners and members in pertinent regulatory dockets.\n\n* Develop and maintain working relationships with key Coalition members to support BDC success in regulatory objectives.\n\n* Ensure that BDCโ€™s legal, regulatory, and policy agenda is equitable and inclusive and drives the overall goals of BDC and the building electrification movement in California forward.\n\n\n\n\nRegulatory Research, Analysis, & Technical Assistance\n\n\n* Collaborate with the California team to produce reports, research, studies, regulatory briefs, and other strategic documents to advance BDCโ€™s legal and regulatory agenda.\n\n* Perform technical analysis to support regulatory filings, contribute to development of fact sheets and reports, and identify and advance key positions on regulatory issues.\n\n* Support drafting of reports, fact sheets, one pagers, and/or blog posts to contribute to BDCโ€™s thought leadership in the regulatory environment.\n\n* Conduct technical analysis as necessary to support the development of reports and educational materials for use in communicating on BDCโ€™s policy objectives. \n\n* Help establish BDC as the go-to resource for policymakers, regulators, coalition members and other stakeholders.\n\n\n\n\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\n\n\n* Demonstrated 3-5 years of experience intervening in administrative dockets and successfully influencing regulatory policy.\n\n* Demonstrated experience with and a solid understanding of building electrification, power sector, and/or climate legal, policy, and regulatory solutions. Strong preference for individuals with experience in rate-setting, the California Environmental Quality Act, Title 24 (specifically parts 11 and 6) and/or the Clean Air Act. \n\n* Excellent research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills are essential.\n\n* Outstanding leadership, consensus, and relationship-building skills with clarity of vision and a commitment to the highest levels of integrity, quality, and collaboration. \n\n* High degree of emotional intelligence to support consensus building and collaboration between and among diverse stakeholders who may possess divergent viewpoints and agendas is a must.\n\n* Exceptional project management skills and ability to set clear priorities. This position reports to the Head of Clinical Operations.\n \nDuties and responsibilities\n \nโ€ข Will direct field-based staff to forge, cultivate, and maintain relationships with a range of key clinical site/study personnel (Investigators, Study Coordinators, Pharmacists, and Clinical Research Associates, etc.) to build a well-informed and motivated clinical site base for ALPNโ€™s clinical development programs. \nโ€ข Develop a strong understanding of clinical site practices to curate and deliver clinical site engagement strategies \n โ€ข Gathers and shares โ€œBest Practicesโ€ and tactics for rapid patient enrollment among trial sites. \n โ€ข Gathers data and information on leading indicators of site challenges/successes and feeds back to the study management team and other functional stakeholders to develop pragmatic solutions to address challenges to enable successful execution of studies.\nโ€ข Partners with sites to understand barriers to clinical trial participation and develops and implements effective local and regional subject recruitment strategies, suggest local outreach options, facilitate escalation of site questions/concerns, and develop recruitment/retention initiatives. \nโ€ข Establish process to ensure site staff requests are managed efficiently and effectively, positioning ALPNโ€™s clinical studies as a high priority within investigational site operations.\nโ€ข Collaborates with ALPN Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, and external stakeholders to support study performance and progress.\nโ€ข Frequent and varied site and study leadership engagement through presentations at site initiation, office visits, investigator meetings, and/or advisory boards to enhance current and future clinical trial awareness.\nโ€ข Facilitates identification of clinical trial site and community educational needs for ALPN clinical trials.\nโ€ข Participates in ALPN community outreach and engagement activities for ALPN clinical trials.\nโ€ข Maintains business and clinical knowledge of the treatment landscape including current treatment strategies, current and pending competitors, and new therapeutic developments.\n \nQualifications\n \nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. About The Opportunity


The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include; facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.


What Youโ€™ll Get To Do


Provide Implementation Services to customers:


  • Support the project team in the validation of customer's business requirements and mapping to Ceridian functionality
  • Design and document innovative solutions to solve customersโ€™ business needs
  • Guide the configuration of the Ceridian application to meet customerโ€™s business requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) on strategic implementations
  • Lead internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables


Contribute to Internal Implementation Initiatives:


  • Design and document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository
  • Document best practices and share with the Practice
  • Lead the subject matter expert (SME) program in at least one area of expertise (Payroll, Benefits, WFM)
  • Regularly participate in internal process improvement initiatives
  • Focus on Continuing Education:
  • Contribute to internal knowledge share; review questions and provide feedback on a continuous basis
  • Participate in Continuing Education sessions, lead Implementation best practice sessions
  • Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release
  • Mentor consultants on best practice implementation of new product features and functionality, including new customer end to end implementations
  • Support the sales cycle through solution review and feedback and assistance with scoping and estimation
  • Participate in prospect discussions regarding solution overview and implementation considerations

  • Expert knowledge of common human capital management (HCM) business practices
  • Deep understanding of different industries and how Ceridian implement best practices apply to the customerโ€™s business practices
  • Deep Ceridian product knowledge in at least two Ceridian HCM modules (Payroll, WSS, T&A, Leave etc.), as demonstrated through multiple implementations

Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship โ€“Africa Region


The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship โ€“ Africa Region is a collaboration between Certara, Pharmacometrics Africa, CP+ Associates, together with several pharma industry and academic partners, to provide an intensive fellowship program for talented and motivated doctoral level scientists from Africa.


The program has 2 components:


  • Virtual Program โ€“ A 3-month virtual program (Q1 2023) that will provide fellows with exposure to leading edge pharmacometric model based analysis. The time commitment will be significant (e.g. a minimum of 20 hours per week over the duration of the Virtual Program.
  • Immersion Program โ€“ Upon completion of the Virtual Program, fellows will have the option to extend the program for another 3 months to an project-based program led by Certara and partners from pharma and academia. The program is designed to foster professional development through immersive training on all competencies required for regulatory quality pharmacometrics analyses and reports. Guided by industry mentors, the fellows will receive class-room training, are assigned individual jointly-agreed upon, precompetitive projects and participate in a leadership development program designed to enhance their decision-making and communication skills.


The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship โ€“ Africa Region aims to build scientific and leadership capability in Africa by enhancing the skills of local scientists and by facilitating knowledge transfer to their wider scientific communities. The relationships forged between the hosts of this program and the fellows' home institutions will further the endeavour to create next-generation medicines to ease suffering and improve quality of life for patient populations around the world. Successful participants in this program will be considered as candidates to join the consulting team for Certara located on-site in Africa.

The program provides fellows an opportunity to enrich their education by:


  • Participating in a tailored training program in applied pharmacometrics provided by a team of leading experts

Included in the internship
  • Scientific/clinical research infrastructure and training: All necessary equipment, training and operational needs will be provided by the program hosts and their partners to support investigation of a jointly agreed-upon, pre-competitive (non-proprietary) clinical pharmacology scientific question.
  • For the participants who are selected into the Immersion Program the program sponsors will provide :
    • Travel, accommodation & visas: (1) round-trip economy class airfare, (2) student-style accommodation for the duration of the on-site program, and (3) support for educational visa applications.
    • Stipend and health insurance: health insurance and a monthly stipend to cover incidentals and basic living expenses.
  • Timelines & Location: The 3-month Virtual Program is planned to start in mid-January 2023. The start of the 3-month Immersion Program is planned for 2Q2023.

Requirements


Qualifications


Eligibility to this program is based on the following criteria:


  • You have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical or biological sciences, applied mathematics or statistics)
  • You have recently completed your PhD or equivalent studies (i.e. early to mid-career)
  • You should already have done at least 1 clinical pharmacology or pharmacometrics data analysis project using descriptive or a model-based methods
  • You have evidence of completing relevant courses on model-based analysis methods e.g. Pharmacometrics Africa courses or equivalent
  • You are a proficient English speaker and based in an African country
  • You have demonstrated strong team player skills

As our European Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the supply chain efforts for our European branches. So, what will you be doing as our European Supply Chain Manager?

  • Collaborate with L&P branches, Logistics offices and European service providers to execute shipments as required.
  • Develop an understanding and maintain documentation of L&P Branches / Suppliers and customers needs for shipping intra Europe and Internationally, including road freight, ocean freight, air freight, consolidation and deconsolidation needs and develop SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with internal branchโ€™s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to Logistics activities.
  • Monitor performance of key external service providers. Communicate to management service failures and help develop action plans to correct for future shipments. Monitor implementation of process improvements.
  • Identify, evaluate & implement opportunities to leverage L&P volumes with current service providers utilizing multiple business units.
  • Coordinate project analysis, bids, etc. for existing business units with existing or potential service providers.
  • Assist with new service provider set ups through SOPโ€™s and required service provider documents.
  • Collaborate with Business unit Purchasing & Sales departments and Logistics offices as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Develop & Incorporate KPIโ€™s to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement with freight forwarders, ocean carriers against benchmarks and service agreements to improve support for our business units. Report findings along with suggested improvement solutions on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide feedback updates regarding market details for air, ocean and intra Europe trucking to management & Business Units.
  • Work with Logistics systems, Accounting & other Logistics offices to ensure visibility & financial data integrity of shipments.
  • Report cost savings / cost avoidance opportunities to management.


To be successful in this role, youโ€™ll need:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education and training
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including 2+ years in a management role
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Excellent organization skills, proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can read, write and speak English fluently.

  • 3-4 yearsโ€™ experience working directly with/for Freight Forwarders to support ocean & air shipments

Job Description

The Study Director reports to the VP of Lithium Development Projects and is responsible for planning, tracking, reporting, monitoring, and task assigning and self-performance of project activities assuring that the overall project study requirements are met in accordance with the Albemarle project study framework.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Formulate a project study deliverables plan
  • Assign required internal and external resources to the study plan
  • Management of project resources through the study cycle, coordination and administration, utilizing the Albemarle standards specific to the phase of the project
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to track progress to plan and provide accurate progress updates to Albemarle Management, in specific earnt value of work completed and forecasted, forecasted future financial outflows for financial year planning
  • Compile regular (monthly, quarterly, yearly) progress reports and portfolio updates as may be required by the Albemarle project management office and finance department
  • Set in place the formulation of the key building blocks of a project study in accordance with the specific study phase criteria contained in the Albemarle APP to support an investment case.
The key items specifically of focus for the study manager to assemble, coordinate or create include:
  • The Opportunity/Problem Statement
  • The alternatives considered to produce an investment case
  • The technical solutions or technologies available in support of the proposed alternatives
  • Business risk assessment of the alternatives and project scope
  • Defining the ultimate project scope
  • Project Approval approach
  • Project execution strategy and plan
  • Project time and cost estimates
  • Project risk assessments for each phase, and outcomes ranging, and
  • Financial modeling and investment case compilation

Remote Digital Products Coordinator

Your mission


As a Digital Products Coordinator, you will be part of the Group Marketing & Technology department making the magic to bring our digital products and easification to the next level!


You will be responsible for and/or participate in projects, such as:


  • Development/improvement, implementation and roll-out monitoring of our digital products
  • Development of sales & marketing collaterals for our digital products and 365-Connect strategy
  • Production of content for the Academy Online (our internal e-learning platform), to maximise learning experience & engagement of our sales & marketing teams across the Group
  • Training of new users and collection & sharing of Best Practices
  • Process improvement to increase efficiency & adoption from our team members and customers (visitors & exhibitors)


This will include some travels to our various events and offices across Europe.


About You


More than skills, we are seeking passion, service-minded attitude, curiosity, people-friendliness and very good grasp on technology!


If, on top of that, you currently have a degree in Digital or Product Marketing and 3 year-experience in digital marketing and/or digital products and combine :


  • solutions & goal drive
  • craze for new technologies
  • strong planning & organisation skills
  • quick learning and agility aptitudes
  • excellent English communication skills
  • perfect knowledge of Office365
