\nWe like to build stuff… sometimes complicated stuff… for Art Galleries, Non-Profits and Charities. \n\nWe’re a bootstrapped startup that has grown rapidly (from 10 to over 30 so far) based solely on the quality of the work we’ve been producing and we’re on the lookout for a confident and ambitious Senior/Lead Front End Javascript Engineer (Angular JS) to join our team.\n\nWe do things a little differently, basing all our solutions on open source products, having flexible working hours and a real team mentality. Our work covers web design, app development and branding for Charities, Art Galleries and Non-profit organisations across the country. Our clients include Charities such as Wikimedia, Amnesty and Farm Africa, galleries such as the Photographers Gallery and Craft Central but we’ve got a long client list that includes other companies, trade associations and government bodies.\n\nYour principle focus will be on developing Angular JS single page applications as part of the CiviCRM and Drupal frameworks for the CiviHR project (https://civihr.org/) but there's a lot going on at Compucorp so expect to be exposed to other technologies too! \n\nCiviHR is an ambitious project to develop a fully featured HR application designed for Non-Profit and Charitable organisations worldwide. It's based on the Drupal and CiviCRM frameworks and has been in development for around 24 months. We recently reached an exciting milestone and opened up for public beta.\n\nWe're looking for someone who can join a great team in mid-flight, have instant results and can help us to create a great product for Charities around the world. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

\nWe’re seeking an awesome person to join our distributed seven-person team as a Frontend Developer. This is a full-time, U.S. based position; applicants outside the U.S. or looking for contract work will not be considered.\n\nThe core responsibility for this position is building and styling web sites and applications for our nonprofit and small business clients. This position will be responsible for things like coding HTML, CSS (using SASS+Compass, usually), and JS for custom websites, styling custom and prebuilt WordPress and Drupal themes, and using javascript (especially jQuery) wizardry to make web applications work for our clients.\n\nOur ideal candidate is a hard-working, curious self-starter comfortable working independently with little supervision, but also able to work as part of a team that includes developers and non-developers. Since we’re a distributed shop, you’ll get to work from home, so we’d love it if you have previous experience working as part of a remote team.\n\nIn a nutshell, we need people who can take static designs (typically PSDs) combined with written functional requirements/specifications and turn them into top-notch CMS-powered websites.\n\nTo apply, respond to this ad with the following:\n\n\n* Your résumé\n\n* A brief cover letter explaining why you’re excited about this job\n\n* Links to work you’ve done that we should see, such as recent websites or contributed plugins/modules/themes\n\n* A vague sense of your salary requirements\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

๐ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site.
