Remote Director Physical Security Operations

Our customers have raised over $15 billion for their personal causes, making GoFundMe a top 200 website in the US based on traffic, with a monthly audience of over 100 million people.\n\nGoFundMe is looking for a Director, Physical Security Operations to oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company, including information technology, people operations, communications, legal, facilities management and other groups. Identify security initiatives and standards. Oversee and manage a network of vendors and partners who secure the company's assets.\nThe Jobโฆ\n\n\nHelp build and manage comprehensive security programs that include physical workplace safety and company safety protocols and policies.\n\nAssess all existing security measures and update and scale protocols as needed.\n\nOversee daily security operations, identify and mitigate potential risks and develop processes to improve the overall safety and security of physical assets.\n\nHelp manage and foster a culture of physical and digital security awareness.\n\nDevelop and implement internal communications and training for employees with regard to security and safety practices.\n\nProvide guidance in the areas when applicable in areas like OSHA compliance, accident investigations, and emergency response planning. Participate in routine safety inspections and incident investigations. \n\nPresent risk assessments and improved security policies and programs to management and cross functional team members.\n\nWork with executive management to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs.\n\nAct as a liaison between local, state and federal law enforcement and the company, both on matters of company security and related to campaigns that require law enforcement dialogue and/or intervention.\n\nEnsure that the company's security policies comply with federal laws and legislations.\n\n\n\n\nYouโฆ\n\n\n10+ years of experience leading security functions in the technology industry or related environment \n\nCombined with a minimum of 7 years in law enforcement management or related leadership experience\n\nBS/BA degree required.
