\nScalable Path is looking for a Senior Full-stack PHP/React/MySQL Developer to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.\n\n\nCLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe company is a forerunner in healthcare job services including healthcare related job search, hiring statistics, and more. This is not a startup but a well-established company with decades of experience across the team.\n\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nYour primary responsibility will be building a new product from scratch in Laravel and React. This product will leverage an existing product's models, data structures and possibly a small number of services but the website and application logic will be all new. \n\n\nIn addition to building the new product, you will also need to maintain the existing product which is in Laravel and Angular 1 with heavy use of ElasticSearch. The amount of work to be done here will be minor compared to the work ahead on the new product.\n\n\nRELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:\n\nYou will report directly to the Product Owner. The development team is currently just one other person but we are looking to grow this team to 4-5 total developers in the near future. There is an existing daily meeting at 9:30am America/Los Angeles (-08:00) PST.\n\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\n\n- Superb Laravel experience\n\n- Strong React experience\n\n- Strong CSS / SASS experience\n\n- Strong MySQL experience with large data sets\n\n- Strong work ethos; able to work self-guided and on a team\n\n- Experience with ElasticSearch or some other search engine\n\n- Excellent written and spoken English skills\n\n- Experience working remotely using Scrum \n\n- Able to see the bigger picture when in the weeds on a singular task\n\n\nDESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:\n\n- Experience with Angular 1 \n\n- Experience with React Native\n\n- Experience with DevOps on AWS\n\n- Experience with Docker\n\n\n\n\n\nSTART DATE:\n\nAs soon as possible.\n\n\nEXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:\n\nOngoing\n\n\nHOURLY RATE:\n\nThe pay rate for this role is from $30 to $45 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.\n\n\nNOTES:\n\nThe daily meeting is subject to change as the team grows. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

You will provide your expertise to dozens of clients every year helping them design and build scalable and robust backend infrastructure that will support their needs. Many engagements will require you to wear different hats: sometimes you will be a DBA, sometimes a sysadmin, other times a devops engineer or systems architect. You will have the opportunity to talk to and work with everyone from engineers to CEO’s. You will be working a mix of remote and onsite ( expect to travel a decent amount in the Bay Area ) and have the opportunity to work with a large number and variety of Tech companies\n\nThe Architect will be a technical leader, within Consulting, Percona and the broader community in one or more technical areas. He/she will develop relationships with customers, comprehend and fulfill their needs, and maintain their satisfaction through onsite customer engagements at which will be a minimum of 75% of his/her time. He/she will scope the technical work that is required to ensure the best possible solution is delivered to the customer given the customer’s unique set of circumstances. Additionally, the Architect will troubleshoot and resolve customer issues of any complexity as the need arises.\n\nThis position reports to a Manager Consultant. You will work remotely; there is no central office, and most people work from their homes. Travel will be required, both for onsite projects and internal meetings. Access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection is required.
