\nEze Software Group (Eze Software) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Server\Virtualization team in its Boston office.\n\n\nThe DevOps Engineer will work within a team of engineers that support the firm’s production server infrastructure (physical, virtual and storage) and are responsible for its performance, reliability and maintainability. The team works regularly with development and business personnel to identify performance problems and assure quality of service for our clients.\n\n\nBuilding an infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) environment and automating the provisioning and configuration of compute and storage resources will be the primary focus of this position. Windows server experience, strong troubleshooting skills and a proven track record of automating repetitive or iterative processes with tools like Puppet, Chef or similar are must-have skills. Experience with Linux administration and automation would be strongly desired, as well as a background with cloud computing.\n\n\nThe successful candidate will be able to translate requirements (including already-configured systems) into a set of deployment and configuration processes that are robust and scalable. A background in development or software engineering would be helpful.\n\n\nYou will be operating in a time-sensitive environment, so strict change-control must be adhered to at all times. Occasional after-hours or weekend work will be required.
