\nYou are a passionate developer with prior experience building complex, large applications in Java, Spring. At Modus Create you will collaborate daily on a cross functional, distributed scrum team to build better products. We pride ourselves on not just being excellent, but an excellent remote workforce.\n\nYour Duties in this role: You will use Java and Spring Boot to analyze, code and deliver functionality for a microservices platform for our client in the Education / Career Preparatory space. You will collaborate daily with UX, Engineering, QA and DevOps to build and deliver an intuitive, highly visible web app and Consult to our end client regarding development best practice.\n\nThis is a full time, contract role that will be performed from a remote location. However, you must be willing to collaborate at least 5 hours per day with the client located in EDT or GMT-4.\n\n\nIn this Role you Must Have\n\n\n* Experience using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js to code, modify, and prototype applications\n\n* Microservices architecture experience.\n\n* Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.\n\n* Previous experience building an application with Spring Boot\n\n* Excellent experience with server-side NodeJS\n\n* Have good understanding of developing web applications with focus on UI layer\n\n* Experience on Docker, Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, or similar\n\n* Have experience in PostgreSQL\n\n* Experience in following Agile/Scrum SDLC\n\n* Familiar with latest Java versions.\n\n* Basic understanding of ExtJS.\n\n* Be comfortable communicating in a virtual environment\n\n* Previous remote team experience\n\n* A consistent, reliable internet connection\n\n\n\n\n\nLet’s Talk about You\n\nYou value outcomes above all else: You have a proven track record shipping great mobile and web products.
