We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team dedicated to improving our core product, establishing a scalable architecture, and helping to build better tooling and automation. A strong candidate will have a passion for solving healthcare-related problems, be able to contribute to a variety of different projects and will excel at communicating with both technical and non-technical members of the team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n-- Maintain and build cloud infrastructure while optimizing for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost.\n\n-- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for our applications.\n\n-- Use infrastructure as code to automate and govern infrastructure requirements.\n\n-- Work collaboratively with the product team to build, deploy, and operate our systems.  \n\n-- Champion the needs of Customer Success and Engineering with regards to any tooling, automation, or process change.\n\n-- Instrument infrastructure and applications with monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing tools.\n\n-- Provide in-depth code reviews to improve application logic and ensure the timely completion of projects.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n-- 4+ years work experience in DevOps or Platform engineering related roles.\n\n-- 4+ years building cloud-based platforms with AWS services.\n\n-- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.\n\n-- Experience building, deploying, and running applications on Kubernetes.\n\n-- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.\n\n-- Ability to perform basic database administration with MariaDB and Elasticsearch.\n\n-- Proficiency developing in Python, Groovy, and Bash.\n\n-- Proficiency with infrastructure as code.\n\n-- Experience with container orchestration technologies.\n\n-- Experience developing RESTful APIs.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n-- Having developed Django applications.\n\n-- Experience building and deploying systems using Docker, Helm, and Jenkins.\n\n-- Experience in creating and evolving CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Bitbucket.\n\n-- Experience with infrastructure as code projects using Terraform/Terragrunt.\n\n-- Good understanding of secure coding guidelines such as OWASP and SANS.\n\n-- Practical knowledge of security practices such as SEIM, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.\n\nBenefits\n\n-- Stock Options\n\n-- Unlimited PTO\n\n-- Medical, Dental, Vision\n\n-- 401k with matching\n\n-- Dogs in the office!\n\n-- Half day Fridays   \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Engineer, DevOps, Cloud, Excel, Medical and Linux jobs that are similar:\n\n $72,500 — $120,000/year\n
