Remote Software Engineer
\nThe Infrastructure Team is solving significant internal engineering challenges as we expand from processing thousands to millions of loans, at more and more lending organizations, and over an increasingly large part of the lifecycle of each loan. We are engineers who care deeply about shipping the best experience possible the first time. \n\nThe challenges we face are highly technical and highly impactful for other engineering teams in the company! We are looking for engineers who are passionate about self service infrastructure, service mesh, performance, security, and scalability. We are looking for a strong collaborator who is willing to work with platform development teams to understand their needs, design solutions that fulfill their immediate needs but that also establish good patterns for long-term scalability.\nNote: This is a remote position, but it would be ideal if you can come to the Mexico City office if needed.\nHow you'll contribute: \n\n\n* Collaborate with platform development and security teams to understand their needs\n\n* Enable teams to fully own the lifecycle of their services\n\n* Work on our internal service deployment tool that sits on top of Kubernetes\n\n* Build tools to enable developer productivity\n\n\n\nWho you are: \n\n\n* You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n\n* 5-7 years of experience building high-quality production software\n\n* Proficient in a modern programming language like Go or TypeScript/Node.js\n\n* Are interested in testing, automation, container orchestration and scheduling\n\n* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams\n\n\n\nBonus Points: \n\n\n* Experience with AWS / GCP\n\n* Experience with Kubernetes\n\n* Have a good understanding of MongoDB and Postgres\n\n* Experience with Terraform\n\n\n\n\nBenefits and Perks:\n\nRelocation & Sign On Bonuses (If Applicable)\n\nPrivate Medical via Allianz\n\nBlend Contributions to Mexican Social Security\n\nPrima (Vacation Bonus)\n\nAguinaldo (Christmas Bonus)\n\nFood Voucher/Meal Allowance ($2,000 pesos/month)\n\nOn-Site Parking\n\n12 weeks Maternity & Paternity Leave\n\nGenerous Paid Time Off\n\n11 Paid National Holidays\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
