We have no office, so we are looking for team members that are comfortable with and motivated by the opportunity to work remotely.\n\nIn this Short-Term Contract Role You Will\n\n\n* In a nutshell, convert Shopify stores into React.\n\n* Create React components and connect them with our CMS layer.\n\n* Help external teams with their implementations.\n\n* Research how external libraries would play with a PWA implementation.\n\n* Create documentation and examples on how to implement features.\n\n\n\n\nYou Have\n\n\n* 3+ years of React (and JavaScript) experience.\n\n* Working experience with latest react features, including Hooks and Context.\n\n* Proven pixel-perfect CSS skills.\n\n* Demonstrated knowledge of semantic html and a11y (you use html elements that are not only <div> and <p>).\n\n* Real-world code we can review (demonstrating high standard of quality).\n\n* A contributions chart on GitHub that is green as this, this, this or this (remember to publicize your private contributions)\n\n\n\n\nNice-to-haves\n\n\n* Experience with PWAs, Liquid, and CMSs.\n\n* Experience working on UI component libraries.\n\n* Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.\n\n* Some SEO knowledge.\n\n* Clear and precise written and interpersonal communication skills.\n\n* Effective time management and organizational skills.\n\n\n\n\nWe Offer\n\n\n* Competitive wages\n\n* Benefits (vary by location)\n\n* A highly skilled and dedicated team that is fun to work with\n\n* Remote work – We are a fully distributed team that works from anywhere with good internet (+13 countries just on the engineering team!)\n\n* Occasionally, we hire on a full time contractor basis to begin with.
