When you are done with that job, a new one will await you with another of our teams. \n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Work with multiple agile teams to establish automated test metric goals and achieve them. \n\n* Work with teams to set up processes, patterns and standards to increase unit test coverage\n\n* Work with teams to set up processes, patterns and standards to automate high value performance testing (benchmark, load and stress)\n\n* Work with teams to set up high value automated API tests\n\n* Working with the Ops teams to test infrastructure as code gets you a gold star\n\n* Contribute to our synthetic test infrastructure run against our production SaaS systems for real-time awareness of product uptime and functional stability.\n\n* Build and maintain expertise in several languages and their testing tool sets over time.\n\n* A passion for automation – a key team goal is to reduce daily toil through automation\n\n* Work cross-functionally within a service team and be a core contributor in every significant engineering solution that is delivered\n\n* Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack\n\n* Participate in on-call rotations, along with every member of the engineering team\n\n* Solid understanding of system design, including the operational trade-offs of various designs\n\n* Solid programming and troubleshooting skills. You may be called upon to help with systems written in Java, .NET, Ruby, Go, Python and Javascript. \nEasy Metrics is seeking an intermediate to advanced report developer with 3-5 years experience working with Jaspersoft Pro in a SaaS environment with multi-tenancy and ad hoc. Must have examples of recent work and references. We use Jaspersoft BI embedded in our SaaS application to provide detailed operational reports as well as dynamic dashboards and interactive visualizations. The role includes fulfilling report requests from our customer service team as well as raising the bar with your own ideas and input.\n\nYou will work with our development team representing the Business Intelligence perspective with the focus on delivering high quality repoprting solutions for our clients. You are skilled with documentation from start to finish including requirements, estimating, use cases, test cases, release notes, and user guide materials. You will have input at every step of the way from concept development through to end user instructions for successful use. You have experience writing unit tests and using GitHub, perhaps even some release management. You have experience working as part of a remote team and can be counted on to deliver when it counts. You are familiar with JIRA and Confluence and working in an agile environment with frequent releases. We offer a remote-only environment working with experienced, self-motivated developers. \nAs member of Periscope's product development team you will be responsible for expanding our Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities with regards to classifying, categorizing and searching procurement data. Periscope has an existing NLP framework for classifying Government bids according to National Institute Government Purchasing (NIGP) codes. We are looking to extend that ability to include requisition and purchase order line item data. In addition, you will be developing search algorithms and mechanisms for performing free text searching of procurement related documents. Once developed these methods will need to be productized and made usable by Periscope's operational teams to produce content for our SaaS and subscription data products on an on-going and cost effective basis.\n\nRequired Experience\n• Transforming unstructured text into database representations that can be browsed, searched, and clustered.\n• Experience with NLP statistical methods for classification and categorization\n• Working knowledge of NLP tools such as Lucene, Solr, OpenNLP, and Mahout\n• Proficiency with the Java programming language\n• Knowledge and ability to work with relational databases and SQL\n• Demonstrated success in in applying NLP techniques in previous positions\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistic, Statistics or other Data Science discipline\n\nDesired Experience\n• Working knowledge of non-relational databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Neo4j \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
