You’ll have access to the rest of the team as needed but shouldn’t expect to be babysat as long as their work is being completed.\n\nA majority of your time initially will be spent working on the existing PHP/MySQL application. We have many features that need to be added on an ongoing basis. There are also numerous areas that need optimization or tweaks to simplify support. This will range from developing stand-alone applications such as activity tracking across the entire application to adding an interface for changing the comparison date on a sales dashboard to debugging image ordering in existing API integration to developing an entirely new API integration for managing products, inventory, and orders. That initial work will transition to developing these features in the serverless architecture using Node.js.\n\nWe are in the process of exposing the entire application via API. A major part of this role will be assisting in this transition, slowly swapping out the PHP backend with a new implementation in Node.js. Origional Author has 5+ Years experience Delphi / PHP/ VB, 5+ Years commerical software dev experience. Team lead of 6+ Developers in previous position.  \n\nSubstantial scope for learning if a student or in early stages of career, ability to make technical decisions and work on varied project if a senior developer. Part - Time or Full time contract depending on candidate.  \n\nOpen Source\n\nWhile the core software project is not open source, several smaller projects have been released as open source (such as DocTo - a project for converting word docs to pdf, started origionally to convert recipes to be viewable by students).  The intention that many if not all the New Projects would be released as open source and available to others.  \n\nUse of open source software is strongly encouraged in development and we like to give back. \nSummary\n \n SugarCRM Developer will be responsible for providing development support for client SugarCRM applications. Development will include enhancing elements of the application to better suit user groups, creating/maintaining custom modules and provide general administrative assistance to users. We are an early stage start up looking for people that are looking for opportunities! \n\nSoundFit seeks a software developer who can take over and extend our server side 3D modeling software used by our SugarCube 3D Desktop scanner. This software receives every set of scan images uploaded from scanners and processes them into 3D models that can be displayed on web pages, downloaded, manipulated in CAD software or 3D printed. Our server software also generates web pages for each image set and 3D model, sends notifications/email to originators and intended recipients of each scan, and has a number of web dashboards and display pages that enable our customers and support staff to monitor and manage processing, and for the production of invoices and reports.
