Our environment is fun and relaxed, our products are ambitious, and our teams are some of the brightest in NYC.\n\nAs a member of the Web Development team within SNAP Interactive, the Senior Full-Stack Web Developer serves as a key contributor in a variety of projects. The Web team builds solutions to manage high-volume workloads, often involving critical financial transactions. This team member will focus approximately 70% on APIs and related server-side components and 30% on front-end development to address these needs. SNAP's environment is highly collaborative, and the ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be a team player who enjoys working with others to find cutting-edge solutions to tricky problems.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities \n\n* Develop and maintain server-side APIs in NodeJS and TypeScript for internal and external use (70%)\n* Develop and maintain HTML Web pages and components (30%)\n* Use modern frameworks and tools to create automated functional, cross-browser, and load tests\n* Participate in Agile product development cycles (Scrum/Kanban) in a highly collaborative environment\n* Assist in evaluating and specifying new Web technologies and solutions for current and future products\n* Participate in the development of POC and MVP efforts for new products\n* Create components and services for cloud and hybrid-cloud environments\n* Work closely with product managers and designers as well as other architects and developers to build and deliver software solutions to business problems\n* Participate in code and process reviews\n\nRequirements\n\n* Minimum 5-7 years experience with Javascript, Git, and standard SDLC tools (e.g. Jira)\n* Minimum 3-5 years experience with an advanced Javascript front-end framework, such as React or Angular\n* Minimum 2-3 years experience with Babel and Webpack\n* Experience working directly with SQL databases (SQL Server and MySQL) and ORMs\n* Demonstrated proficiency in full-stack environment characteristics, including HTTP protocols and headers, caching, and cloud environments\n* Demonstrated proficiency addressing cross-browser compatibility and performance challenges\n* Recent emphasis on ECMAScript 2016 (ES7+) and related technologies a strong plus\n* Experience with TypeScript a plus\n* Experience with remote-work environments a plus\n \n\nPlease mention the words **DEVICE CAVE RICE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMDc=).
