We are responsible for Wikidata Query Service (a graph database that allows users to run arbitrary SPARQL queries on Wikidata) and for the search engine used on Wikipedia and its sister projects.\n\nWe are looking for a software engineer to help us bring the Search Platform team to the next level.\n\nWe use open-source tools as much as possible, and always open source our own work. Java, Python, PHP, and Scala make up most of our code, but we value using the right tool for the job.
