\nQuickly maturing startup seeking like-minded Sr. Software Engineer in Test! PacketFabric redefines how companies procure, consume, and manage their network connectivity. The technical team is a small, talented, and close-knit group and we need some accounting help to make business operations flow smoothly.\n\nDescription\nYou love testing and making sure everything works! You create meticulous integration tests and have an eye for finding those edge cases that software engineers miss. A typical day might include these types of activities:\n\nWork closely within the SRE and development teams - Network, Backend, Frontend - to create test cases.\nCreate and maintain a test cases and scenarios for our API.\nCreate and maintain UI based test cases and scenarios.\nCreate scale testing for various systems.\nCreate external documentation to be consumed by technical users.\nTroubleshooting complex issues to provide detailed and repeatable steps to replicate.\nAssist on various SRE projects.\nAsking good questions.\n\nRequirements\nThe right candidates will have an abundance of hard-core programming skills and have solid instincts for testing frameworks and methodologies. You don’t need to be reminded to test for security issues or look at the web console for errors because it’s just part of your nature. More specifics include:\n\nYou are highly proficient in Python testing frameworks and have knowledge of how to perform integration tests between all aspects of a system\nVery familiar with JIRA, build pipelines, and Jenkins\nYou have written large scale test and integration suites\nComfortable on any *nix command line\nDetailed documentation skills - especially when reproducing bugs or describing new features\nExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)\nBe very comfortable with Git version control and project tracking tools like JIRA in a team environment\nExperience working in an environment leveraging remote communication collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom etc.\n\nPreferred Experience\nPrevious exposure to networking protocols and concepts such as IPv4/6, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, etc. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

Join us!\n\nWhy You Matter\n\nThe CB Response product is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SET) with strong programming skills to expand the automation coverage on the sensor side of our product offerings. As a Senior SET on a Scrum team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement automation frameworks as well as create test suites based on those frameworks. You will also be able to use programming skills as an integral part of the development team to fix bugs and work side by side with other engineers. If you are a technically curious programmer with a passion for testing this role will provide you ample opportunity to grow professionally and make a meaningful contribution.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n\n* Build and expand test infrastructure and automated test suites for the sensors in our product suite\n\n* Collaborate with developers to find and fix bugs in the source code of our products\n\n* Work with manual testers to identify and automate cases that can be automated\n\n* Tie tests into the continuous integration framework, managing, monitoring, and reporting on continuous and nightly test runs\n\n* Help drive quality for all deliverables on an Agile Scrum team\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\n\n* Minimum 5 year experience in Quality Engineering with at least 2-3 years focusing on test automation and test framework development\n\n* Minimum 2 years programming experience with Python (Proficiency with C/C++ helpful)\n\n* Strong technical test skills with a demonstrated track record of adopting and effectively using new tools and technologies\n\n* Strong Mac and Linux skills, knowledge, and experience (including command line and shell/batch scripting)\n\n* Kernel level testing/programming experience in a Mac and/or Linux environment a plus\n\n* Experience with source control management tools, preferably Git\n\n* Experience with continuous integration technologies (Jenkins)\n\n* Experience with distributed enterprise level applications (client/server)\n\n* Experience with network security, and general familiarity software security concepts, challenges, and paradigms a strong plus\n\n* Experience working on an Agile team a strong plus\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
