\nTaxJar's looking for the next Ruby developer to join our company and contribute right away. We all work from home, spread across the US from coast to coast. Here's why one ecommerce vet joined the team not too long ago.\n\nYou'll be contributing from your first week; from your first task assignment in Jira to your first commit and pull request on Bitbucket.\n\nYou'll write code and add to our Rspec suite of tests in multiple projects from our public sales tax API to our sales tax reporting and filing web application.\n\nWe work with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Heroku, AWS and Redis on a daily basis. We want you to be involved from day one in supporting and scaling multiple Rails apps, private gems, open source plugins, hundreds of gigabytes of data across multiple databases and a 24/7 API to monitor and scale.\n\nOur small team gives you the opportunity to work with everyone in the company. Our entire company spends time working in the customer success inbox, even the CEO. There's plenty of opportunity to learn from others as well as share your ideas and experiences in making TaxJar and the SmartCalcs API better.\n\nThis is a full-time remote position, available to folks based in the US.
