\nScalable Path is looking for a Full-Stack PHP and JavaScript Developer to work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.\n\nCLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:\nThe client is a consulting agency that helps enterprise organizations to better understand their problems and identify opportunities where Open Source technologies can be utilized to solve these problems.\n\nIn order to do so, they collaborate with their clients on requirements and estimates to create a project plan and then provide development resources for the project. Progress is managed by a proprietary methodology that helps them reach their goals while staying within their budget.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAs an agency, the client is currently involved in several large projects which require a variety of skills. In order of importance, they are Drupal 7, Drupal 8, and finally general PHP with experience in Node.js/MongoDB. Familiarity with SuiteCRM, SugarCRM, and Meteor would be a plus.\n\nAs a Fullstack Senior Developer, you will be working on both backend site-building and frontend theming. You will be working on several projects and will be open to learning new technologies or improving your current skills when other needs arise. In order to complete your tasks, you will be working within the client’s proprietary methodology.\n\nAs a developer, you will need to be compatible with 3 major aspects of this methodology:\n\n1- You would be dealing with JIRA tickets estimated at a maximum of 2-3 hours at a very granular level. For each one of them, you would be provided with the user story, technical approach, and acceptance criteria.\n\n2- Tasks are sometimes estimated by another internal team member, so you would need to:\n- Communicate if you disagree with the estimate and offer suggestions or alternatives to make things happen within budget while explaining trade-offs\n- Achieve the deadline even if that involves offering implementation compromises up to your project manager and the client\n\n3- Track your time by using Toggl which allows the company to collect metrics on your work.\n\nRELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:\nYou will be reporting to the agency Principal who is also a senior software engineer. \nWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Drupal Developer to work on a client project. This role is only available to developers based in the US. This process has checks and balances which allow the developers to make the most of their time.\n\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nAs a Senior Full-stack Drupal Developer, you will be working with a well-known government research laboratory to migrate a large number of sites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. \nLightSky is seeking a Full-Time, Senior, Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer.\n\nAbout the job\n\nYou’ll be working primarily on various Ruby on Rails projects ranging from Rails 2.x through Rails 5.x, including porting of older Rails projects to Rails 5.x and maintenace of those legacy applications. You’ll participate in meetings and help assist project managers in developing accurate estimates and timeframes for the projects that you are assigned. You’ll work with the client and project manager to quickly determine the cause of bugs and formulate long term fixes and steps to prevent recurrence.\n\nAbout your skills\n\n\n* You enjoy working in Ruby on Rails, and have experience using it to implement web applications of various types and complexities. Most of your work will involve maintenance of high-volume, high concurrency applications so experience with that is a must\n\n* You have a working knowledge of Linux and are comfortable in most server administration tasks.
