\nHelp us make a big green dent in the universe. We're on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution, and we need loads more people to help us make our vision a reality.\n\n\nWe're recruiting Plumbing and Heating Engineers to install our Air Source Heat Pumps. We're looking for passionate people who have worked on the installation of heating systems and we provide full training for candidates looking to make the transition to renewables! \n\n\nWe're recruiting Engineers nationwide, this job positing is for roles in North Yorkshire. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you'll do \n* Youโ€™ll work as part of a team to install low carbon technology in customers' homes - starting with Air Source Heat Pumps\n* Youโ€™ll learn about new technologies and get awesome training in our state-of-the-art ยฃ10m training centre; giving you the confidence to install the kit, to find solutions to challenges and to share low carbon advice with our customers\n* Youโ€™ll use your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an outrageous experience\n* Youโ€™ll review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings\n* Youโ€™ll work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps\n* Youโ€™ll lead a team; be responsible for your crew and empower them to make on-the-fly decisions to do whatโ€™s right for you and your customers\n\n\n\n What you'll have \n* Youโ€™ll be experienced in the installation of boilers and it's a plus if you know about air source heat pumps\n* Youโ€™ll be an experienced plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find. As our European Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the supply chain efforts for our European branches. So, what will you be doing as our European Supply Chain Manager?

  • Collaborate with L&P branches, Logistics offices and European service providers to execute shipments as required.
  • Develop an understanding and maintain documentation of L&P Branches / Suppliers and customers needs for shipping intra Europe and Internationally, including road freight, ocean freight, air freight, consolidation and deconsolidation needs and develop SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with internal branchโ€™s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to Logistics activities.
  • Monitor performance of key external service providers. Communicate to management service failures and help develop action plans to correct for future shipments. Monitor implementation of process improvements.
  • Identify, evaluate & implement opportunities to leverage L&P volumes with current service providers utilizing multiple business units.
  • Coordinate project analysis, bids, etc. for existing business units with existing or potential service providers.
  • Assist with new service provider set ups through SOPโ€™s and required service provider documents.
  • Collaborate with Business unit Purchasing & Sales departments and Logistics offices as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Develop & Incorporate KPIโ€™s to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement with freight forwarders, ocean carriers against benchmarks and service agreements to improve support for our business units. Report findings along with suggested improvement solutions on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide feedback updates regarding market details for air, ocean and intra Europe trucking to management & Business Units.
  • Work with Logistics systems, Accounting & other Logistics offices to ensure visibility & financial data integrity of shipments.
  • Report cost savings / cost avoidance opportunities to management.


To be successful in this role, youโ€™ll need:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education and training
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including 2+ years in a management role
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Excellent organization skills, proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can read, write and speak English fluently.

Things we consider a plus:

  • 3-4 yearsโ€™ experience working directly with/for Freight Forwarders to support ocean & air shipments

Everlight Solar is seeking a skilled Recruitment Assistant to assist in attracting candidates, screening them and matching them to appropriate positions. These collaborative individuals use high communication skills to manage a variety of functions related to recruitment, including reporting to the hiring manager and coordinating communication between job applicants. This position is entry-level and will be a full-time work-from-home "remote" position.


This is a role for Apple power-users, must know iWork and be skilled with iOS and macOS.
