\n### **Why we need a Product Designer**\n\nOver the last year Immunefi has gone from a team of 3 with no product, to a team of 30+ with a rapidly growing customer base weโre hardly able to keep up with.ย \n\nUntil now our design efforts have been done by our product manager, but itโs time to separate our design efforts into a dedicated role. As our first product designer, you will be working directly with our product lead to develop features from research to shipped code.ย \n\nWe ship on a weekly basis, which means youโll get rapid feedback on your designs and learn more in 3 months than in 3 years at a larger company. Weโre growing our team fast, so if you have the right temperament this is a role with no ceiling for expansion.ย \n\nIf that sounds like something for you, and you want to work with a great team, hit us up.ย \n\n**Areas of responsibility**\n* Maintain and develop our design system\n* User testing and research\n* Brainstorm and develop ideas with the product team\n* Design mockups and prototypes of new features\n* Maintain and organize design assets (style guides, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and other visuals to help us produce consistent experiences)\n\n**Skills and traits**\n* Systems thinker โ As a designer we expect you to think in systems and understand how your designs fit into a larger whole and develop a system that scales and grows with minimal design debt over time.ย \n* Open and humble โ Able to accept constructive criticism and share responsibility for failed communication and failure to deliver, as part of a team.\n* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills โ As a designer, your role is to interface with users and engineers to solve problems, which requires the ability to effectively build those relationships and communicate your ideas.ย \n* Proactive โ In small companies, we need someone that can put energy into the system to drive projects forward with as little oversight from others as possible.ย \n\n**Required experience**\n* 4+ years of product design experience working in small to large teams\n* Can code anything you design given enough time using HTML/CSS/JS and/or frameworks like React.js/Vue.js\n* Experience with Github\n* Experience maintaining and developing large design systems\n* Experience using industry-standard design tools (Figma, Illustrator), feedback tools (InVision, Zeplin), and prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, Craft)\n* User research experience is a huge plus \n\nPlease mention the word **CLEARED** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi42Mw==). ๐ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site. **Looking for a well-rounded Product designer [REMOTE]**\n\nWeโre growing our design team and looking for a person who **understands product design, business perspective and why we do stuff that we do, but whoโs also very good at visual design.**\n\n**What will you be working on?** Semaphore is a continuous delivery service, focused on speed and simplicity. A tool that helps developers write better code. More on semaphoreci.com.\n\n**Who youโll be working with?** Youโll be closely collaborating with our marketing, product and dev teams, and continuously optimise based on data and information from research. On product design end, in functional and visual aspect, youโll have support from Design lead and the rest of the product team.\n\n**Who are you?** We want you to stand strongly behind your decisions, but to be humble enough to accept that your opinions are challenged all the time as part of the process.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n**Experience**. This is a senior position for experienced designers. We need someone who will be a strong addition to our team from day one. Difficult to tell how much exactly, but weโd dare to say at least 4 years working on products.\n\n**Required skills**. Your deliverables will be either in the form of sketches, mockups, prototype or code โ whatever is faster and whatever communicates the idea better. Youโll use Sketch a lot, but should also be able to code your designs and deliver and test them in their natural environment. Therefore, HTML and CSS is a must. We bet on Tachyons. Illustration and Icon drawing skills are nice-to-haves. Knowledge of Javascript isn't a must, but knowing how to handle subtle interaction details would be a great help.\n\n**Applying**. a) Send us the link to your portfolio. And the link to your blog if you are writing one. Weโd like to evaluate your visual and your writing skills to be able to understand how do you think about design. b) Send us your CV, although not necessarily very formal, it must be something from what we can learn about your previous work experience.\n\nBENEFITS\n\nThis is a REMOTE position, but youโre welcomed to work from our Novi Sad office. If working remotely, we would like to have at least 4 hours overlap with 9-5 CET. We offer fair compensation, friendly environment, 20 days of paid vacation + public holidays in your country, unlimited books, paid gym membership and so on.\n\nGood luck applying!\n\n**Who We Are**\n\n**SemaphoreCI.com** is a leader in hosted continuous integration and deployment, with over 30,000 developers relying on Semaphore to test and deploy their code. We believe that a great place to work is where we're surrounded by self-managed people who consistently do good work and positively inspire us.\n\nWe work in a fast-changing environment of a new market, and there are many ways you can make a great impact. You will not be just improving the product or customer experience, but have a voice in shaping the company culture too.\n\n\nSounds good? Come work with us. \n\nPlease mention the words **OWNER COAST UNHAPPY** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi42Mw==). This is a feature to avoid spam applicants.
