emble Ltd is the company responsible for the development of emble, an app designed to make it easier for people to plan events with their friends. You will be joining a passionate team of four and be largely responsible for the progression of all backend architecture.\n\nWeโre looking for a skilled lead back end developer whoโll be able to work closely with us, continuing the development of the emble app by implementing new features, versions and architecture changes. We want someone who can help us further develop a solid foundation for the platform in order to support growth and scaling. You would be heavily involved with developing future iterations of the app (including versions for iOS and Android) as well as implementing user feature requests and updates.\n\nYou would be expected to travel to Birmingham 2 to 3 days per week - for the remainder of the week you would work from home. We are a member of e4f incubator, which means weโd be spending time at Innovation Birmingham (based in Birminghamโs Science Park) where we meet with mentors, investors and fellow startups. Youโll need to be comfortable with using Slack and our task management app Asana. Youโd be working from 9am - 5:30pm every weekday but we will expect you to be on hand if needed beyond these hours. We sometimes start at 8 and finish at 7. \n\nYou need to be proactive and independent, and your time management has to be excellent. Weโre a small, close-knit team and itโs imperative the successful candidate for this role can fit in with our approach! We are looking for an individual who is a team player, implicitly trustworthy, highly experienced and up for the challenge. The successful candidate will be willing to play a big part in the early stages of a startup and thrive on the challenges this poses. \n\nEvery day will throw up new challenges and you'll be heavily involved with decision making at a priority level. \nRaven Solutions seeks a talented full stack .net (C#) engineer for our Federal contracts with the Department of Defense and Homeland Security. This position is designated as a multi-year independent contractor position and can be done remotely. Some occasional travel is required.\n\nThe Senor .net developer will work closely with engineering staff to design, build and support our ASP.NET Web Applications. Strong Javascript experience (JQuery and ExtJS) and thorough understanding of HTML/CSS is required.\n\nWhat you'll do:\n\n\n* Participate in full-cycle software development including requirement and specification analysis, software design, implementation, testing, deployments and maintenance\n\n* Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of software architecture and design\n\n* Collaborate with other team members in order to analyze functional/technical specifications and translate them into highly functional, easy to use software.\n\n* Test Driven Development in conjunction with a QA team who perform manual and automated testing. \n\n\n\n\nThe Contractor shall be regarded as occupying IT-II (Limited Privileged) public trust positions and will have access to unclassified sensitive information. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen currently residing within the Continental United States. Foreign nationals or US citizens living abroad will not be considered.
