\nCloud / DevOps / AWS Engineer \n\nIDbyDNA is seeking a Cloud / DevOps / AWS Engineer to take our metagenomics platform to the next level. We look for a relentless learner who thrives in startup environments – someone who’s entrepreneurial, innovative, passionate, proactive and driven. The title and compensation will depend on the qualifications.\n\nJob Description\n\n• Enhance our AWS-based metagenomics SaaS platform and applications\n\n• Work closely with our Bioinformatics and R&D teams to develop cloud services\n\n• Optimize and scale our metagenomics platform for optimal cloud performance\n\n• Implement security controls for cloud services\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n• BS in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline\n\n• 5+ years of experience in AWS development\n\n• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices\n\n• Experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions\n\n• Strong programming skill in common programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP\n\n• Proficient database skill such as MySQL or NoSQL\n\n• Strong data structure and algorithm knowledge\n\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n• Experience with SaaS development\n\n• Strong web programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related frameworks such as React and Node.js\n\nLocation(s): San Francisco Bay Area OR United States (REMOTE) \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
