We're need more developers to create more cool web telecom-related projects and apps. 100% of our team works from remote.
To compensate for the monthly kind of low payment of just 1500 EUR, which may be too low for some parts of the world, we're offering you a quite unique profit sharing model: For every web project that you turn into reality, you'll receive 20% of the profit that this project generates for as long as you stay with Lightup. You are awesome at working independently and self-sufficient, you are great at researching using Google and AI tools extensively to find the infos you need & to learn.
You could, in theory, build functional websites from scratch without relying on AI or programming tools.
You can write code from scratch using your brain, without AI, and just by using a text editor (if need be).
Coding means actually writing manual code for you, not copy'ing & paste'ing code snippets that you found on the web. To you, coding also doesn't mean dragging objects from A to B in some visual "programming" tool.
In other words, you're a real programmer!
Your skills:
Perfect English & typing proficiency. No typos, no grammar mistakes.
You can create Android apps from scratch, from start to finish, by yourself.
You can handle the Linux shell and you can navigate through a Linux-based filesystem using just command line tools.
You're a master of the programming language(s) of your choice that allow you to create web-projects (PHP, Python, whatever).
You are very good at SQL, you understand the inner workings of e.g. MySQL and thus you know what makes queries slow and what makes them fast.
All of this requires that you already have plenty of experience, if you are new to all of this or if you think AI will be able to handle these requirements for you, then you are not the right candidate.
You have used vi or vim before.

We're defining the inner workings and features of the to-be-created web-based service, or app, together.
You'll start at 0 and build these services & apps from the ground up, independently, by yourself.

As a creative senior front end engineer you must be super passionate about crafting high-end front-end websites and applications. Along with being a kickass dev you should have a great design eye and a willingness to have design input into what you build. Responsibilities

Work very closely with the designer(s) on clarifying and providing bi-directional feedback on the designed wireframes, prototypes, and graphic assets both static and moving.
Create scalable processes regarding development, deployment and user testing.
Work closely with the Design UX/UI & Growth team, a team composed by designers, developers, and content writers on building, improving, and maintaining the existing and upcoming organization and project websites.

Apply reusable code design and design patterns in a test driven development environment\n\n* Develop technical design documentation based on functional design specifications and implement solutions using object oriented programming techniques\n\n* Work as part of a team of developers (user-interface, middle tier business logic, data access) and application architects interfacing with business analysts, database developers, infrastructure architects, and quality assurance testers to ensure the successful delivery of an integrated solution meeting the needs of the business.\n\n* Provide development estimates for implementation and project plans\n\n* Review applications in all phases of development to ensure adherence to development standards.\n\n* Research, recommend, and adopt best practices and design patterns for development.\n\n\n\n\n Qualifications\n\n\n* A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a similar science and engineering discipline, and a minimum of 3 years of progressive post-graduate experience. \n\n* 3+ years as a professional engineer, building and maintaining web applications from concept to production.\n\n* Fluent with the core of our current technology: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.\n\n* SharePoint 2013 administration and/or development experience using NCSS (No Code Sandbox Solutions) or SharePoint 2013 App Model is a very strong plus but not required.\n\n* Proven skills developing RESTful and oData services using C#.\n\n* Experience in writing complex SQL queries and executing SQL, TSQ, PL/SQL scripts using ADO.NET against MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.\n\n* Strong object oriented design skills and familiarity with n-tier applications and Service Oriented Architecture.\n\n* Preference given to candidates exposed to test driven development and agile software methodologies such as SCRUM and XP\n\n* US Citizens only, Secret Clearance required.\n\n\n\n\n EOE/M/F/D/V. \nWe're a CRM service leader in the mortgage industry with an exciting new greenfield development project that we're looking for contract-perm or full-time employees to ramp up our development efforts. This is a fast paced and fun team to be a part of.\n\nIn this role you will be working with our team of 4 UI/UX engineers to bring a first class user experience to our users. Making complex user flows easy to navigate and writing clean javascript (angular) will be keys to success in this role. We have a team of API developers that rapidly provide well documented endpoints for our UI team to integrate with and we work very closely together. \n\nNOTE: Although this is a remote position we would ask that you spend some time in our awesome Atlanta, GA office to ramp up and learn the vision of the product and get to know some of the other developers.\n\nThings you should know --\n\n\n* Strong understanding of Angular services and best practices for code design\n\n* Being a world-class designer is not a requirement but we expect that you know how to make something that looks good.\n\n* Working experience with bootstrap and CSS3\n\n* We use Gulp for our build process\n\n* Unit testing, unit testing, unit testing\n\n* Experience with consuming restful API's \n\n* Of course a strong understanding of Angular templating and best practices\n\n* A strong hatred of Jquery UI\n\n* Experience implementing charting libraries like Highcharts or D3\n\n* Experience with Git\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
