About Heliax
Heliax is a public goods lab which researches, develops, deploys, and maintains open-source protocols and mechanisms designed to serve the everyday needs of humanity. Using these protocols and mechanisms, we build vertically integrated products and networks that form coherent open systems which are capable of acting as an alternative to existing exploitative paradigms.
Two of the most notable vertically integrated protocols are Anoma and Namada.ย
Anoma is an intent-centric, privacy-preserving protocol for decentralized counterparty discovery, distributed solving, and atomic multi-chain settlement โ a radically novel architecture for decentralized protocols marking the beginning of the third generation of architectures ever since programmable settlement.
Namada is Anomaโs first fractal instance. It is proof-of-stake Layer 1 protocol for asset-agnostic, interchain privacy. The key innovations include ZCash-like shielded transfers for any assets (fungible and non-fungible), incentivised privacy sets, and interoperability with Ethereum via a custom bridge and IBC.
Heliax is a remote-first (but not remotely-only) team, currently composed of +50 cross-disciplinary members located around the world.

About Rehive
Rehive is a no-code fintech app builder. Rehive is the easiest way for new fintechs to launch their own branded neobanking app or for non-fintechs to add financial services to their marketplace, platform, or ecosystem. Rehive is breaking down the barrier to entry for starting a fintech business.
About the role
Weโre looking for a senior frontend engineer to work on Rehiveโs web and mobile applications (React and React Native).ย
You will focus on creating highly configurable fintech applications on the Rehive Platform and Extension APIs. The biggest challenge is creating modular software that is configurable to support various user flows. You can think of Rehive's frontend apps as a no-code app builder tool.
Profile
Experience in React and React Native or similar frameworks. Strong architectural thinker.
Intuitive eye for UI/UX.
Passion for fintech and crypto.
Comfortable with text-based communications, without the need to rely on in-person contact to stay motivated and focused.
Keen eye for building quality products and compelled to deliver the best user experience possible.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software engineering.
3+ years of experience in developing web apps with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.
Familiar with product and design life cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, quality assurance, and product managers.
You have successfully launched a production scale product that got user traction.
You have experience with measurement based software development methodologies.
Preferably you have experience working on finance or crypto related projects.
Why work for us If you like playing with lego, you'll definitely enjoy working at Rehive. We go out of our way to create a modular and super flexible framework for building any fintech application, both on the backend platform and frontend applications.
Weโve been building fintech apps since 2014 and are backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, including Tim Draper (investor in Tesla, Skype, Twitch), Jed McCaleb (co- founder of Ripple and Stellar), Jesse Powell (CEO of Kraken) and more.
We want to build a high growth business that can put us in a position to keep innovating in finance and make a difference on scale. Weโre early movers and have made a big bet on the future of blockchain and all things crypto. We believe in the future all financial businesses will need systems like Rehive to build products on top of cryptocurrencies and blockchains as a store of value. Our goal is to catch this wave once the world starts to rapidly adopt these new technologies.
Our culture Weโve created a culture where we keep pushing ourselves to grow and take on new challenges. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, but it is a perfect fit for someone that is interested to join a team that believes we can make a difference by building better financial technology tools. We sometimes push a bit hard, but always take a moment to look back and evaluate if weโre still on the right track.
We are a fully remote team and primarily communicate via text. We encourage our team to create their ideal lifestyles by giving a lot of freedom. This also comes with a lot of responsibility to communicate with intention, manage team expectations, make sure you take breaks and time off and look after your health.

#What is the job?\n\nNo matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโs the tools you present to the user that define the experience. Radix is seeking a savvy UX expert to come build the experiences that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).\n\nDeFi has turned out to be the killer app that is taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance, and with it has come a new paradigm for user interfaces. Authentication models, interoperability expectations, and the entire concept of user accounts are all undergoing dramatic changes; at Radix youโll have the opportunity to define the way forward while working at the very cutting edge of a space undergoing furious growth.\n\nWorking from a series of end-to-end user scenarios, you will wireframe delightful user experiences and pitch your design to a team of brilliant folks who care very deeply about the end result. Next, youโll work with artists and UI experts to produce a consumable design with appropriate fonts, colors and iconography, after which youโll move on to implementation with a small team. Youโll be primarily focused on delivering the front-end, but expect a healthy dose of implementing the requisite services you will consume, as well.\n\n#What are we looking for?\n\nYouโre able to isolate the 90% case for user experiences. You think in terms of making the most common interactions effortless, rather than making anything possible.\nWhen discussing new capabilities, your first instinct is to think of the user story rather than the feature set.\nYou donโt get wedded to ideas. Youโre not reluctant to throw prototypes away when something isnโt working.\nYouโre a confident coder who has built public-facing user interfaces in the past. You have some experience building REST services and/or WebSocket backends.\nYouโre intelligent and learn quickly. Absolutely no one at Radix winds up only doing whatโs in their job description, and adaptability is essential.\n\n#What do you need?\n\n4+ years as a professional software engineer\n\nFluent in JavaScript and TypeScript\n\nFluent with React or Vue\n\nComfortable with Java or C#\n\nA love for all things crypto is a huge plus!\n\n#Who are we?\n\nAt Radix, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to $40 billion in less than a year. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $111 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.\n\nRadix went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.\n\nWe have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now. \n\nPlease mention the words **HOLIDAY DRINK PUZZLE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xODA=).
