This means you have an incredible opportunity to join us on this journey to do meaningful, challenging work while growing your career.As one of the first software engineers of the Ecosystem team, you will:\n\n\n* Gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and approaches which will provide you a comprehensive grasp of the entire product and its services\n\n* Help to build the team by providing guidance and coaching to other engineers\n\n* Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems for our customers\n\n* Practice data-informed product development through analytics, A/B testing, etc.\n\n\n\nWhat to expect?\n\n\n* Create tools to build apps that can customize Contentful to fit user and business needs with App Framework\n\n* Develop new marketplace apps that integrate third party SaaS solutions into a unified experience to simplify and improve content editing and delivery with Contentful\n\n* Work closely with partners like Gatsby and help them build secure and performant apps for our marketplace.\n\n\n\nWhat you need to be successful?\n\n\n* Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript application development, including asynchronous programming, Promises, and other modern JS concepts\n\n* Experience building SPAs with front end technologies and frameworks like React\n\n* Knowledge of the server-side JavaScript ecosystem (Node.js) is a plus\n\n* Knowledge of Typescript is a big plus\n\n* Experience with REST APIs\n\n* Collaborative, open to diverse opinions, and can give reasons for your technical decisions\n\n* Excited to work with and learn from developers and customers\n\n* A passion for learning and experimentation\n\n* A builder mentality and desire to deliver\n\n\n\nWhat’s in it for you? \n\n\n* Join an ambitious tech company reshaping the way people build digital experiences\n\n* Full-time employees receive Stock Options for the opportunity to share in the success of our company\n\n* Comprehensive health/dental/vision care package covering 100% of monthly premiums for employees \n\n* We value Work-Life balance and You Time!
