We have offices in London, Lisbon, Porto.\n \nAbout the role:\n\n\nA YLD Software Engineering Consultant is a highly skilled developer who exemplifies the highest standard in software engineering and enjoys sharing their knowledge and experience with others.\n\nAs a Frontend Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to build and deliver software within interesting projects, both in terms of the product and the methodology. We work in an Agile environment (Scrum) with a test-first mindset (actually, writing code without tests should be unthinkable). Join our team and contribute to the development of innovative products that make a difference in the industry.\n\n\n\nYou’ll have the following skills and experience:\n\n\n* Commercial experience of working with React and Node;\n\n* In-depth knowledge of CSS in its multiple applications (Tailwind, CSS in JavaScript, CSS Modules, etc);\n\n* Thoughtful about Component composition and state management, with experience in multiple patterns (e.g. MobX, Redux, Context, etc);\n\n* Knowledge and experience with the up-to-date transpiling, bundling, and packaging ecosystem (e.g. esbuild, vite, yarn, turborepo, etc);\n\n* Experience with documentation generation tools, both for libraries and for components;\n\n* Opinionated and experienced with linting and formatting tools;\n\n* Strong and vast experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools and techniques;\n\n* Experience in testing your products with Unit, Integration, End to End, and Visual Regression tests;\n\n* Used to design tools (e.g. Figma) and its API and integration tools;\n\n* Extensive experience working with Design Systems.\n\n* Knowledge of Typescript;\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou’ll be:\n\n\n* Self-motivated, proactive and continually looking for ways to improve and develop yourself;\n\n* A good communicator, both in writing and verbally.
