\nThe Opportunity\n\nThe Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role will be a part of a lean, nimble, full stack powerful engineering team. We value simplicity in both our code and our UI. Since we’re a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on virtually all aspects of the software and have a direct and immediate impact! This role will advance our cutting-edge data search engine and social profiling platform. The role will build scalable and performant frontend UIs and applications using React, ES6/7 JavaScript, Webpack, HTML, and CSS. We have a service-oriented architecture,  two client facing platforms, a web app, and a Chrome extension supported by around 9 other services (with an internal API to connect them). You will be at the core of every new feature, every product decision, and every touch point of our users. You will not be micromanaged and have full autonomy to design the architecture and engineer the features / products for scale. You will grow as an individual, professionally, and be able to see and feel the impact you are making to the growth of Seamless every day.\n\n \n\n\n\n \nDuties / Responsibilities:\n\n\nAn interest in building UIs with modern tools like React, ES6, Styled Components, and Webpack\n\nDesign, Development, and implementation of scalable and performant microservices handling large quantities of concurrent requests and data (initially this role will be responsible for 70-80% frontend development but will also require backend-specially node.js/express, postgres, aws - but eventually this will be more of a 5050 full-stack role)\n\nCreating JSON schemas and UX workflows that represent and support business processes to support hundreds of millions of records\n\nAn ability to think through customer requirements and quickly solve their problems\n\nRegularly (and often frequently) shipping quality finished code - working in an AGILE/MVP format is key\n\nCreating full features, relatively unsupervised - including strong communication with the remote team\n\nSupporting applications across multiple platforms such as browsers extension, mobile, and web applications\n\n\n\n\n \nSkills / Requirements:\n\n\nIdeally 5+ years experience building high-quality cloud-based web applications\n\nExpert knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React, ES6/7 JavaScript, Webpack, HTML, and CSS.
