You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, devops, UI/UX, and product management, to deliver a robust and efficient infrastructure that meets the needs of our customers.\n\nThe technologies you will be working with include but may not be limited to: \n\n\n* Kubernetes\n\n* Kafka / Event Streaming\n\n* Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, and NextJS\n\n* DevOps stack: Terraform, GitHub Actions/Jenkins (CI), Prometheus, Grafana\n\n* Native cloud management tools of AWS/Azure/GCP\n\n\n\nCore job responsibilities:\n\n\n* Conduct assessment and document the current state of the Dash Enterprise architecture.\n\n* Design and own the roadmap for the platform and infrastructure of Dash Enterprise, utilizing Kubernetes and related technologies to ensure scalability, high availability, and security.\n\n* Hire, mentor and manage the Platform engineering team; keep them challenged and growing professionally; conduct performance reviews.\n\n* Identify integration, technology advancement, and operational cost-saving opportunities.\n\n* Perform architectural reviews for quality deliverables and compliance with security, disaster recovery, and other risk concerns.\n\n* Implement best practices for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators.\n\n* Monitor and troubleshoot internal and production systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities to ensure smooth operation.\n\n* Work closely with stakeholders to optimize resource utilization, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure efficient use of cloud resources.\n\n* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Kubernetes and related technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches to enhance the infrastructure of Dash Enterprise.\n\n* Mentor and coach the Platform team and the Devops team on enterprise platform management best practices.\n\n* Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.\n\n* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth opportunities for team members.\n\n* Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals.\n\n* Provide strategic guidance and leadership in evaluating emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity, scalability, and performance.\n\n* Participate in cross-functional technical design and code reviews.\n\n* Own seamless integration of new features/products in the Dash Enterprise platform.\n\n\n\nJob requirements:\n\n\n* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n\n* 8+ years of experience as a Platform or Infrastructure Architect Engineer/team lead/staff software developer with a strong background in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions for Kubernetes-based products.\n\n* 3+ years of experience in managing software engineering team.\n\n* Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies.\n\n* Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go\n\n* Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles, utilizing tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.\n\n* Familiarity with networking concepts, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.\n\n* Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure.\n\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.\n\n* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\n* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\n\n* Dedication to writing and encouraging clean, maintainable, and efficient code.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nDon’t meet all the requirements, but you feel you would be a great fit to our plot-legion?
