About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. About the role
Reporting to the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and delivering data driven one-to-one lifecycle journeys and member experiences (both BAU and project based) that will help inform, educate, engage, and retain members with HCF.
Key focus will be to develop activity that will positively impact member retention and satisfaction rates while helping members understand and get better value out of their cover with HCF. And to take a multi-channel approach to activity, ensuring members are communicated to at the right time via the most appropriate channel and with the most relevant messages.
Key responsibilities
Proactively develop and deliver one-to-one data driven lifecycle, member support and retention activity and journeys. This includes development of activity, stakeholder engagement, creative review, agency/supplier coordination and the reporting and tracking of results & insights
Ensure marketing strategies, comms plans and member journeys are data driven and support key member engagement and retention metrics
Ensure marketing excellence in developing and managing all activity within agreed timelines and budgets, and with correct QA and review processes applied
Budget management, including identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise or reduce the cost of allocated activity.
Work closely with key stakeholders, including Member Services, Product, Member Health and IT, to develop and generate marketing activity that will help achieve desired member and business outcomes
Manage the relationship with external suppliers and vendors, including ensuring SLA’s and testing is completed within agreed timelines
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications
8-10 years’ experience in a data driven marketing role in medium to large organisations - business and/or government and /or not-for-profit sector.
Strong grasp of current lifecycle marketing strategies and in designing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
Proven track record of delivering against key metrics and in developing test and learn frameworks, across multiple channels, especially email, direct mail and SMS
Strong project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines, work under pressure and maintain professionalism
Have strong senior stakeholder experience in a large corporate environment - and able to collaborate with internal stakeholders confidently and effectively
Experience in working with internal and external vendors in planning and delivery of activity
Has a strong commercial focus with high standards of work to ensure efficiency, accuracy and within budget.

You will be extending existing APIs, and building new APIs and integrations, to be consumed by native iOS and Android mobile apps (and related web apps) that will be distributed to thousands of users within Canada. If you are also skilled in DevOps (nice-to-have), you will set up the mobile build automation and deployment systems for these mobile apps.\nYou should fully understand the end-to-end process of how web and mobile clients interact with JSON APIs including special cases like websockets. We are already using the Hapi Framework to build large organized APIs, and the Joi Framework to do validation, and will expect you to be, or quickly become, an expert with these. Integration with databases and services is the point of most of our expected APIs. You should be proficient with raw SQL queries and Knex to interact with databases (MySQL/Oracle/SQLServer). You will likely also develop new DB schemas for MySQL. You will also be creating APIs that call and transform data from other 3rd-party API services.\nTypically you have worked on medium and large API applications and are comfortable working with enterprise customer expectations. We would consider it a bonus if you've worked with the government, or other civic organizations before. You are comfortable working with a high-level of independence, quality, and professionalism. Generally, consumer frontends are written in React/ES6, and backends in Typescript (Express for REST APIs and native websockets for RTC). We use Redis as a message broker and Postgres as a persistent datastore. Our infrastructure is (mostly) on AWS.\n\nThe most visually-prominent consumer product is the Koji IDE, a web-based editor that connects to a remote development server and enables full-stack development from any device with a browser. The remote development server uses Docker to create a per-project environment that runs both the editor server (file writes, PTY operations, OT-based real-time collaboration, Git operations, etc.) and the processes/servers required for the user to develop their project (backend servers, frontend dev servers, test runners, etc).\n\nAt a high level, the web editor’s frontend uses VSCode’s Monaco as a text editor and a custom parser that renders Koji-compliant JSON config files into intuitive visual controls. Because Koji projects are simply modern, standards-compliant Javascript projects (or projects that ultimately target JS), this hybrid approach gives our users the benefits of easy, visual configuration using no-code patterns for manipulating project-level config (strings, colors, styles, mechanics, settings, etc.) without subjecting them to the usual restrictions of no-code/low-code platforms (complex, unintuitive controls; ballooning trees/graphs once projects go beyond simple basics; no ability to drop down and edit native code; etc.).\n\nBecause Koji projects are staged in the cloud during development, the web editor’s live preview can be opened on any internet-connected device (without the need for ngrok, mobile device proxies, etc.). The editor provides some additional tools for easily testing backend routes and manipulating PTYs.\n\nKoji projects are backend by Git repositories. By default, new projects use a Git remote hosted by Koji’s Git server, but projects can also use repositories hosted by third-parties as their remotes. The Koji deploy pipeline uses Git hooks to trigger new builds (build steps are defined by a JSON file within the project) and shows build progress, logs, and notifications inside the web editor. Projects can deploy static bundles or dynamic services that are compiled, containerized, and deployed using Google’s Cloud Run.\n\nOnce a project is deployed, it can be accessed by an auto-generated subdomain. From within the editor, users can also register a custom subdomain on one of our root domains (e.g., myproject.withkoji.com), or register a custom domain name and configure DNS to point that domain to our CDN. We take care of HTTPS provisioning, deployment, and renewal automatically with Let’s Encrypt, and all projects are accelerated with our CDN partner, Fastly.\n\nThe CDN that serves deployed projects can also inject plugins at runtime based on path/pattern matching, which lets users easily enable features like Open Graph tags (something that is typically difficult to do on client-side SPAs without SSR or services like Prerender) or integrate things like Google Analytics.
