\nRateIt is looking for a full-stack web developer to join our growing team.\n\nWe've created an easy and delightful way to gather customer feedback to help retailers, healthcare providers, and government groups improve their execution and find new growth opportunities. We do this by collecting customer ratings from our beautiful tablet app, web app or physical tokens. On the back-end, our customers access insights through an online portal, giving them a clear view of their results.\n\nOnly having launched in 2016, we've already partnered with some pretty serious brands: Bose, Adidas, BMW, KFC, Fitness First, Harvey Norman, 7/11, just to name a few.\n\nThe why \nWe've got a product which both our public users and B2B customers love to use. We're solving a real problem and have implemented a business model which is working – so we're set up for some exciting long-term growth and are on track for a successful Series A.\n\nOur team is set up to function remote-first with staff throughout Australia, a handful of people international and an office now forming in Melbourne.\n\nThe what \nAs a full-stack web developer, you will join a product team team of six (and growing) including two experienced full stack devs, one senior front end/UXer, a senior mobile dev, supported by our product director and the CTO. In addition to this role, we're also hiring for a senior front-end developer.\n\nWorking on all lines of product, you’ll be involved early in the process from technical, functional and UI/UX requirements through to delivery – building a delightful, high-performance web application. Being a small team there are opportunities to get involved in building the mobile apps, continuous integration and DevOps too if you're interested\n\nOur tech stack today is a REST services architecture using C#, ASP.NET and SQL on the back-end with component-driven Angular 4 on the front-end. It’s hosted on Microsoft Azure and uses a large number of Azure’s services (functions, service bus, cosmos db, cognitive services, etc.)\n\nThe technical chops you will need:\n\n\n* Proven experience working with modern server-side languages such as C#, Ruby, Python, Go etc. We don't require you to have experience working with .NET/C# - if you can bring a willingness and motivation to learn we're happy to help you get up to speed.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Experience working with databases and SQL.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Demonstrated experience coding in JavaScript/TypeScript particularly with SPA frameworks such as React or Angular.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Proven understanding and experience in web application architecture, object-oriented software and advanced design patterns would be lovely to have.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Experience working with a hosted cloud platform and ability to speak to the challenges and benefits: AWS, Azure, or GCP.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Startup experience is highly desirable – if you’re the magic mix of enterprise software and startup dreams, inquire within!\n\n\n\n\nThe how \nYour role will be as remote as you want it to be - you can work from home anywhere in Australia or take advantage of our office in Melbourne. By “remote first” we mean remote team members are first class citizens, and the business is optimized for it: high collaboration, great tools and a strong team culture are guaranteed.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThe opportunity to have an impact and leave a legacy. You'll have autonomy and you’ll be given a whole lot of growth opportunities. You’ll be working on an interesting product suite with a lot to do, whether it’s shaping process or creating real customer value.\n\nWhat do you want to learn? What are your goals? This might just be the place to be supported and follow those, finally! \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
