We are seeking a Senior Web Developer – C#/.Net to join our team in developing the next generation of our eCommerce architecture. This position is located at our Northbrook, Illinois corporate offices.\n\nAs a Crate and Barrel Senior Web Developer – C#/.Net, you will join an innovative eCommerce team responsible for delivering solutions built for sustainability and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, testers and other software engineers to design, test, code, deliver and maintain software modules within an Agile Scrum environment via website architecture built on a cloud infrastructure. Come be a part of our exciting fast paced team, proud of building the solutions that drive our websites seen by millions of Crate and Barrel customers.\n\nJob Description:\n\n\n* Design, develop, and implement solutions using C#, ASP.NET (MVC and WebForms), and Javascript Frameworks as your tools and Visual Studio 2015 as your environment.\n\n* Conceive and build unit testable solutions for our website applications.\n\n* Participate in technical design meetings with other developers and assist in defining the system architecture and choosing technologies.\n\n* Work on a cross-disciplinary Agile team to develop, estimate, test, and maintain our websites, while collaborating with team members on product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective.\n\n* Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress.\n\n* Be an active contributor to back-end development practices and code reviews.\n\n* Update and maintain site documentation.\n\n* Communicate effectively and efficiently with all associates and business contacts and promote a strong sense of teamwork.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* You have been building websites for 5+ years with C#, ASP.NET, MVC with a preferred focus on e-commerce solutions.\n\n* Possess 5+ years experience with relational databases like SQLServer, NoSQL experience a plus.\n\n* You have strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders and web designers.\n\n* You can work with jQuery right away. You have some experience and knowledge of another script framework (e.g. AngularJS, node.js).\n\n* Real world problem solving and technology excites you.\n\n* Experience working in a web environment such as IIS administration.\n\n* You have worked in an Agile environment.\n\n* You can write unit tests and testable code.\n\n* Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.\n\n* Ability to analyze business problems and provide accurate development estimates\n\n* Experience in domain-driven development and cloud technologies is a plus.\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience.\n\n* You have good reading, written and verbal language skills (English). \n\n\n\n\nFor immediate consideration please apply on-line at http://crateandbarrelcareers.silkroad.com/. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

\nAs Web Application Developer at Dito, you should possess strong web application development skills, creativity, and an affinity for solving complex problems. You will be working closely with clients and Ditomites (Dito team members) to create custom solutions that utilize some of the newest technologies available in Google’s ecosystem; Apps Script, App Engine, Google Apps REST API’s, Compute Engine, DataStore, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Google Maps Engine, Maps API for Business, Google Search Appliance and even Google Glass. Many times, clients will have legacy apps that need to be rebuilt with the Cloud in mind. That’s where you come in! We need an individual who takes a specific interest in hacking and building upon Google Apps APIs and its various Cloud Platform products, and other 3rd-party systems to create robust and complete solutions for our customers.\n\n\nIdeal candidate: You spent hours learning JavaScript and Python, you’re asking questions in online communities and getting answers, you’ve built some apps that integrate with APIs and/or some server-side processes with JSON, you consider yourself highly skilled in JavaScript with confidence to take on the world, have a few go-to frameworks (Angular JS, jQuery), and now you’re ready to get hired full-time with a successful company that can ignite your career! Conceptual understanding of different JavaScript methodologies, libraries and frameworks is key. JavaScript projects will range from Google App Scripts to full, single-page applications. Understanding and potentially being able to use different tools in the appropriate situation, such as Angular JS, Backbone, Mustache and jQuery, will be important - as is the ability to solve problems without using those tools at all. You have built applications on Google App Engine, and are comfortable modeling data with App Engine’s Datastore, specifically NDB.
