We are hiring a full stack developer with a back end focus to join a dynamic, experienced team. We are looking for engineers who can not only tackle technical problems, but also collaborate and evangelize best practices across teams. We value engineers who can bring fresh ideas and are willing to own solving problems all the way to a solution. \n\nJob Specs:\n\n\n* Architecting and implementing solutions at the core of our application\n\n* Working closely with other members of development team, including fullstack, front-end, data and infrastructure engineers\n\n* Writing and deploying clean, tested and well-documented code\n\n* Contributing ideas for new features and proactively identifying areas for improvement\n\n* Mentoring other members of the team via code reviews and collaborative sessions\n\n\n\n\nQualifications: \n\n\n* 3+ years backend experience with Node.js \n\n* Experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or other cloud server platforms\n\n* Experience with NoSQL such as MongoDB; relational database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL and in-memory data storage tools such as Redis\n\n* Familiarity with React, Next.js, Typescript, styled-components. Although this position will be mainly focused on the backend, strong JS, HTML, CSS skills are a plus.\n\n* Experience with continuous integration and automated testing tools and methodologies \n\n* Experience with JS build tools such as grunt.js, gulp and similar alternatives\n\n* Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n

We have a team lunch every Friday where we share what we've been working on throughout the week and discuss new technology, tools and techniques that excite us.\n\nThis position is only available to US residents based in the continental US who are eligible to work for any employer without visa sponsorship or transfer.\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* Overall 4+ years of enterprise-level application development experience\n\n* 2+ years production experience with Symfony framework\n\n* Ability to start a complex, data-driven site in Symfony from scratch\n\n* Working knowledge of established JavaScript frameworks, ideally React.js\n\n* Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle\n\n* Strong knowledge of server caching for performance\n\n* Understanding of MVC, IoC and other common design patterns\n\n* Experience using agile development methodologies\n\n* Experience developing applications intended to scale to multiple servers\n\n* Experience with AWS or other cloud providers, serverless architecture and other cloud-forward patterns are a plus\n\n\n\n\nGeneral Attributes\n\n\n* Outstanding software development skills\n\n* Testing / debugging\n\n* Good written and verbal communication, including with non-technical people\n\n* Ability and interest to learn new technologies on the fly, as they become needed\n\n* The ability and interest to learn is one of our most desired attributes in a candidate.
